I listened to his radio 4 interview the other morning and for the first time in a few years I heard a senior Tory speak with a refreshing honesty, intellect and integrity. However, the party needs radical reform its populated with complete fools like Benton and is inevitably going to damage the stability of the UK.

That may well be so, but speaking and doing are two different things. He screwed the NHS, and he has openly given his vision for it, and it is private.

We just need some financial stability and then a general election. The turmoil Truss had caused needed to be arrested or we all suffer. I really believe that under her leadership (with or without Hunt) the Tories are unelectable as a Government which personally is good. They have disrespected the nations citizens and trashed the economy whilst presiding over horrendous cuts in public services.
 
As someone who has the audacity to work the prospect of not benefitting from the energy cap from April is scary. Coupled with my fixed rate mortgage ending in April we're talking several hundred pounds extra a month. šŸ˜¬
 
Every credit to him as he must be one hell of a fast learner. Thursday night a nobody and Monday delivering a budget of sorts and (by the time you read this) forcing a PM to resign.
