INO Pod with Ian Holloway.

Were we looking at signing Shay Given on loan in the January transfer window and would he have come here?

Oh, and tell him hertfordseasider loves him!!

Would he take a role as advisor to Critchley and be involved in the training of the squad and stand on the touchline next to him on a match day

Oh, and tell him hertfordseasider loves him!

Did Koko tell him that we were going into a managed decline and find yourself a new club quick that will pay compo?

Just another one then to go along with the rest. It will never happen anyway.
Maybe, but he's certainly lost his way in football and done more than most to alienate himself from our fanbase with some of his nonsense about the Oystons.

He was an inspiration when he was at Blackpool and I'm not sure I'll ever enjoy football like I enjoyed the football under his leadership again.... (Possibly the Football we played after being relegated from the Premier League more than the Football we played beforehand)... However he's cooked his goose with a significant section of our fanbase and he wouldn't be welcome, which is a real shame, but it is how it is.

We've got to start looking beyond the past and making new history..

I look forward to listening to the interview.... 👍

Once he's taken me home I'll find out more and report back! 😂

Does he think the club is in a better place now than then?

What’s his gut feeling about he future of BFC

Does he believe the romance has gone out of it, coz I doo…

How hard was it keeping the players on board when they got their promotion bonus late and the captain who was instrumental in gaining this promotion was knocked over his ‘stay in the division’ bonus?

What did you really think in pre-season before the PL campaign when you had Franny Jeffers on trial and we’d signed nobody but allegedly missed out on Pitman, Stead, Austin etc.

Was the final straw for you when we didn’t sign DJ Campbell on loan because KO was waiting for the international break to not have to pay the loan settlement as you left swiftly after this.

Aside from the team that won promotion, who would you say was your best Blackpool signing?

What was it about Karl Oyston that made him the best chairman you worked for? I can oinly imagine it was cos he was so disinterested that he just let you get on with it, as long as you didn't make financial demands. You've talked about battles with him to spend money.
He was his employer so had to respect him & left because of the Oystons ( surprised he stuck it so long).
What I dont get is he still praises them, hence why some fans have disowned him!.
Love the guy, could do with his motivation now!

It's a question for Oliie, not you. 😉

There appeared to be a bit of awkwardness between you and Critch during the pre match interview Forest at home .

Do you think having a straightener with him on Revoe Park to clear the air would be a good idea ?

Bit late for this one but would love to know his thoughts on James Beattie and Andy Reid and if their arrival was one of the reasons for our decline?

What does he think of this tippy tappy sideways-sideways-backwards-hoof posession based data driven mind numbing football?

X3, I don’t think for one minute he would return in any capacity whatsoever, however, let’s say hypothetically that he did then I think it would generate a buzz around the place and if he were to start off with a few wins under his belt then even the “die hard” Ollie haters would return because, as you and I know, football supporters are very fickle indeed.
If there were a handful that were adamant they would not return then that’s all it will be, a handful, and would not be detrimental to to the club at all.
Totally agree with you about him being an inspiration and watching some very entertaining football indeed during his reign.

You’re right… if he could recreate his previous ‘form’ and do so relatively quickly, then things may well be fine. However he’s not really managed to replicate his success fir some time, I think football has possibly moved on and I’m not convinced he has the energy and enthusiasm that he once had.

The fact that he has alienated so many fans places him under pressure to succeed from the off. I’m not really sure that’s a particularly healthy situation.

What I can say is that he would have my 100% support, but that pretty much applies to every manager.
