Jakeman's sweets. Always been available for a 100g bag at around 65p.

They have now changed the packaging and to a larger 160g bag which, based on previous prices, should cost about £1. Instead, they are now priced at £1.99.

That's about a 100% price increase.

I got some in a tube form ( like spangles used to be) the other day for about 55p. Just checked only 41 grams! That wasn’t good value

I guess that's down to the cost of ingredients as well as everything else. There was a cake maker lady in the radio the other night saying that a sack of cocoa powder had that has been costing her £77 is now £240. Unsustainable. I imagine many other businesses will have similar issues.
