Hoping the virus tails off in warmer weather - think again!

The problem with a lot of those 'third World' countries is that the powers that be don't care about their poor citizens. They live in luxury whilst the population lives in poverty and it isn't going to change soon. Let's hope that this virus is a leveller of sorts and shifts some of that power and wealth.
 
Very distressing report! just to add hot countries the like of Saudi Arabia and other Middle East countries are predicting big death tolls! Yemen have just confirmed first Coronavirus deaths, imagine that Country’s death toll considering they already have a high rate of cholera, etc, and their health services are virtually non existent! What a fuckin mess!
 
There will be Countries all over the World in similar situations. Thats why for all our problems in many ways we should be grateful.

Its sad that oil rich countries seem to care more about spending money on purchasing football clubs than the welfare of its people.

The disparity between the rich & poor & the attitude towards fellow human beings with regard to health in some of the Arab States i have to say is pretty frightening.

It’s between 25 and 35 degrees here throughout the day and night.

In fairness it’s not as bad as the UK but it has been handled better here - the weather is not a leveller!!!!!!

We are also in a circuit breaker here.
 
Horrific, that said I’m pretty sure nobody thinks the weather has anything to do with it. I still think we will beat it pretty soon though.

Well in the early days (recently) that's what they were hoping for to flatten the curve. I hope you're right Scara that we will beat it, we have to we have no choice.
