As on the whole we seem to be the more mature message board, by that I mean a lot of us seem to be in our 50,s? I'm 59 next week... Just wondering how many 50 somethings have been offered a vaccine yet?

I know Rust 2 stands has had his & he's 6 months younger than me. I have heard of many people in "our" age bracket who have been called for theirs, anyone on here, & what areas?

As in "Gods own Marton", bugger all is happening

Not had mine or heard anything yet 😪

I am 56 and in FY8 but not been called yet, but ready to present the arm at a moments notice!

Only one in our household who has not had the jab, yet probably the most likely to turn my toes up first. 😕

Got mine today but I’m in the over 60 category. So after around 5PM you’ll be able to track me 😬 Different areas around the Fylde coast have been slightly ahead of South Shore where I live.

Just got back to Carlisle after having my jab at Kendal this morning. I will be going back to Kendal next Friday to take my wife for her jab, Both 60-65 age group.

I had mine 2 weeks ago, I’m 49. On account of working a lot at BVH. While in the queue there was plenty of people from all different age groups. I’m convinced the real numbers are being kept quiet to suppress people’s urge to throw the towel in early regards lock down.

Anyone who is 60+ and hasn't heard can go on GOV.UK, search for covid vaccination and book an online appointment. I hadn't heard from the doctor but booked online and got an appointment for the following day, plus one in May for the second jab.

Went down to Elland Rd yesterday. In and out within 5 minutes. No side effects so far.

What are the side effects of going inside Elland Road? 😁

Recently moved from FY4 to FY1 (property with a granny flat for mother in law).
Mother in law 86 and had her 1st jab on January 19th, no 2nd jab yet
I'm 59 and Mrs Dave 55, nothing yet.
Getting an invite at 39 (as Tang Ted has) seems a little odd, unless in a front line profession or a carer?

Because I have cardiomyopathy and classed as vulnerable although I should be full of antibodies after having it in Jan!

Having mine tomorrow in Leicester. I'm 60 , went online Monday booked for tomorrow and also booked the second Jab for May . The booking process was very efficient. If you are over 60 you don't need to wait to be called.

That’s exactly what I did on Monday & yesterday a letter arrived typicality (but it did say ignore if you’re already booked, I’m at the Winter Gardens for both jabs.

58 and no call.... Mrs. Seasider 57 and has hers last week at Winter Gardens. Very well organised and in and out 15mins.

62 had the letter and looked at the online booking, the three offered locations were all 41 miles plus one way! Our doctors website says to wait until you are contacted for a more local vaccination centre, I'm waiting..............................

Over 60 and vaccinated last Friday. Over 60s could book from last Wednesday locally. Christ I feel old typing the words over 60......

62 and had it a couple of weeks ago. My wife 56 just had a call and offered one tomorrow afternoon. Both of us were contacted by our GP Practice in Birmingham.

The different age groups are people who are eligible. My daughter and son (both under 26) work in care and have had theirs. Friends (age 29 to 45) who support autistic adults have had theirs. I have relations in NHS age 25, 47 and 57 who have had theirs.

La Reborn has had her first. I'm booked in for next Tuesday. We'll both be fully inoculated before the end of May.

58 and had mine two weeks ago in Thornton. Mrs H is 60 and had to book online. Fleetwood Hospital for her on Sunday. I had mild flue symptoms afterwards.

I was told it depended on how efficient your surgery was working and how fast off the ball they were getting the vaccines to their surgery.

Unless you are in a defined 'at risk' or health / care worker category' then they are still doing the 60+ categories. The wife and I are 61 and we have our first jabs next week, with second ones in May.

Wife had her first jab last night at winter gdns ,only their about half hr running pretty smoothly no real side effects just a bit of a dull ache, has her second booked for may ,still awaiting date for my second but was told upto 12 weeks after first one anyway ,also you can park for free on car park opposite jab centre, only got told when we walked their from parking by blue room,

Went to Winter Gardens and was surprised to see so many firefighters there, one even gave me the prick. That should get the women down if they are doubters.

Wife's had hers through work. Funny though, she can't walk past the fridge without her left arm being pulled towards it. Anyone know a good fridge engineer?

A day after slight pain in arm, plus very slight aches & a bit tired. Not kept me in though.
