Is he the best keeper we have had since Gilks?(who wasn’t all that when he first signed but proved his worth in the long run)
He has his moments for sure and if he makes a mistake he does seem to lose his head a little and make a couple but 9/10 games he is amazing, his distribution can be a little iffy sometimes but his shot stopping is arguably the best ive seen from a blackpool keeper and personally think we are going to be lucky to keep him after this season (unless we somehow pull off a miracle) as he is definitely championship quality

When he first signed Rachukba was better hence why he kept his spot but Gilks definitely proved his worth in the long run and his injury was a major reason we got relegated from the prem

He would be the best keeper we've had if he would command his area more and occasionally come out for crosses. But I suppose you can't have everything.

For me the best keeper for ages and I agree about his lack of command in the area.

Remains to be seen if he gets his experience in that department with us or a Championship side.

I can see big things for this lad.

People saying Grimshaw is better than Gilks are a bit daft. One had to try and keep out Rooney, van Persie, Tevez and Torres. Grimshaw has some fat lad from Fleetwood shooting at him.

This tactic of Grimmy in waiting for the last second to pick the ball is going to catch him out one day. He was really close a few times last night, I just don’t see the point of it to save a couple of seconds.

He's a good shot stopper & a decent league 1/lower championship keeper. Lack of commanding his area & distribution & probably height will stop him going much higher IMO.

Agreed a Maxwell 2020/21 is a better keeper than Grimmy now.
Command in the area and kicking was better than Daniel.

DG has made some mistakes and been at fault for a few goals also this season, but is a cracking shot stopper and will only get better unlike Max who went the opposite way.

Maxwell was also a winner - remember after we won the Play Offs and he looked like he was going to kill someone, sacrifice their blood, stand on their corpse and then celebrate with their severed head held aloft!!

Maxwell was brilliant that season, last season where he was kept in goal for far too many games he wasn't.

There is an argument to be made. Gilks could be poor. So could Rachubka. For me Gilks takes it. But at his best Chubs could be good.

Maxwell was better and has proved it by being first choice when he was here and went to a championship club before getting injured. Sadly was forced out by moaners.
