I was reminded earlier this afternoon of a League Cup visit to Coventry in 1997, and that West Paddock Casual took it upon himself to get up on the bonnet of Gordon Strachan's motor and dance about with his arms waiving in the air, as he does.

That would have been funny enough in itself, but what made it actually funnier was Gordon was actually driving it at the time, stuck in traffic somewhere near their Highfield Road ground. .

By the way it was WPC who reminded me of the incident today, so its his own fault if anyone who knows him see's this thread tonight . I'd forgotten about it. Don't let him anywhere near the car park later

I got stuck in a waiting room at Darlington station with him for hours due to cancelled trains and I can assure you he is a very angry man. Probably as his car was in the garage getting a new bonnet!
