Good window

High side of average unless Sassi is match ready then above average, I think it's a bit late for the play offs but happy to be proven wrong.

Still think something is missing , besides consistency
 
I personally want a ready to go strong central defender and then we should be good. I see we are trying after bidding for the Wycombe lad. Even though it’s been rejected he may want to come so a second offer may move it along.

I agree, it feels to me like we have returned to original ‘model’ this window that SS talked about when he arrived. Buy young, talented and with potential then develop and sell on. We’ve trimmed out players who won’t play in Critchley’s system or who are simply not good enough overall - KD aside- and reinvested. The future looks very bright I think

2 players for the future, one of which isn’t match fit anyway. The other will more than likely be on the periphery and be loaned out next season.
Byers is a straight replacement for Dougall. Not sure who he plays instead of?
Coulson is a bog standard wingback. Hardly streets ahead of Lyons is he.
It certainly isn’t the window of a club going for promotion. One or two short to impact the starting 11.
With the glut of players out of contract in a few weeks and 4/5 loanees in our squad, it’s a very disappointing effort yet again.

Ps anybody spot the usual pretend bid for a player to disguise the failings?! #Lowbids
 
I think it's great so far let's hope Critchley has a change of tack when it comes to team selection and who plays where.
If he does that sneaky £20 I had on us to go up yesterday in anticipation of a good window could well pay off.

What a team.
 
Decent window - we've shifted deadwood (Dougal aside, Dale has done ok) so freed up some wages. So out going i'd say 8/10
Then we've signed 2 premier league youth team players which are gambles but show club is looking forward. Could be shrewd.
George Byers is an excellent signing at this level, proven at this level - shame it was loan. And Coulsen looks a handy player also.
If we could get a Dembele ilk player before 11pm then we've had a blinder.

Just need Freddy Krueger up top Mr Cheery.
 
Yeah happy now we’ve signed an experienced midfielder. Was what we needed after main business of keeping Rhodes. Improved at LWB and brought a couple in for future so very good overall I’d say. 👍

Pressure on Critch now to deliver. One of the strongest squads we've had in a long time. This window has been excellent.
 
Incredibly efficient window. Arguably one of the best ones we've had since Sadler took over.

1. Rhodes stays
2. LWB sorted so we don't have to do anymore inverted shit
3. Dougall gone, but replaced
4. Dead wood gone and replaced by younger players with more potential

This window balanced the books while marginally strengthening the squad and providing optimism for the future, 9/10
 
BILLY BOLLOX of a window. Well looking forward . uncle simon has done well. all we need now is posh at home in the bristol motors comp. turn them over . send junior ferguson home in a huff and a walk through at Wembley. oh and a play off finals as well. dont all hammer me at once.
 
We seem to have upgraded a few positions, while signing a couple of hopefully promising youngsters which signals a return to the strategy we adopted when Critchley first came. We've no idea really on how good Finnigan and Sassi are, but you'd hope we can do with them both what we've done with Casey.

We've replaced Thompson with Coulsen.
We've replaced Dougall with Byers
We've kept hold of Rhodes for the season.

We've certainly got a decent chance of the play offs this season I think. The top priority imo was to replace Dougall because beyond Morgan and Norburn we have very little in midfield. Byers is a top signing, even if it is just on loan.

Longer term, we now have Kouassi, Joseph, Lyons, Finnigan, Casey, Sassi, Apter all 23 or under. If Finnigan and Sassi do turn out to be good, that could be a very decent group of players for the next few years.
