I know what you mean ATG l thought the same until l saw them live and they are very good much better than l expected, but that was a good few years ago now.

Coldplay are decent enough to watch live but is this the 3rd time they have headlined in about 10 years? Either a lack of imagination from the organisers or a lack decent high profile musicians/bands around these days. Where are the current day versions of Oasis, Pulp, Stone Roses, etc.

A rich variety of artists amongst that lot. If I was going I wouldn’t be paying too much attention to The Pyramid stage, most of the really good stuff is on the other stages.

Visited ‘Peace Hall” Halifax yesterday. Their line-up looks far more tempting than Glasto. Trying to get tickets for Noel Gallagher. Either there’s a glitch or sold out?

As for Coldplay, well I'm glad we swerved this one. Utter sh#te. We went through the registration proces this year but didn't get round to applying.

It's never about the headliners on the pyramid stage, it's about all the gems playing on other stages or down the list on the Pyramid stage. I wouldn't go to watch any of those 4 headliners but would have plenty to choose from.

The best "Festival" is the Great Escape in Brighton in May, bit like Rebellion's format, in lots of venues over 4 days and all up and coming bands, bit of a 6 music listeners dream. I usually get an airbnb and have a great time.

That line up is missing a legend or two for me. There’s still enough to go at, I’m mostly looking forward to watching Yard Act and Jungle on the box.

I’d love to do Glasto again with the Mrs and kid but I’m not sure I can be arsed with the faff of it all these days.

Saw Faithless are on the bill. How? Have they found a replacement for maxi jazz. One of the best live acts I've ever seen.
