I actually can not believe some of the utter nonsense I’m reading on here and Twitter, full on melt down after the third game of the season.

Those giving Sadler abuse today and who have defended it need to seriously get a grip, compare the club and not just that the community and things we are doing as a club to better Blackpool to the day he took over and things are a lot better and the club is much healthier for it. Yes the transfer window hasn’t been great and we haven’t covered ourselves in glory but Jesus Christ some fans need to be realistic about our club size and be grateful for Simon Sadler. We worked and suffered so hard to get the rid of the Oystons and I can’t believe some are turning all ready.

On to Appleton now, we are playing a completely different style to Critchley, we have so far 5 new faces and people expect miracles overnight. Yates bags the penalty and Bowler isn’t greedy (as per!) and it’s a different game and we’ve 3 points tonight. Those calling for his head are probably the same clowns who wanted Critchley gone after two months in league one when we had a whole new squad and expected instant success, we only went on to get promotion.

Honestly some of you need to have a look at yourselves it’s embarrassing the over reaction and just makes us as Blackpool fans look like morons.
 
I don't agree with what happened to Simon Sadler today, whoever threw something at him needs banning. Disgraceful.
As for our performance today. We were awful in the first half.
The second half marginally improved but we were still not winning the second ball.

Thompson, Marvin and Grimshaw were excellent today. However
Carey was out of his depth and should have been substituted along with Bowler at the break.
Bowler was guilty of being greedy and doesn't know when to release the ball when he goes on a run. Jerry was in space and Bowler decided to strike the ball 8ft over the bar instead of passing to Yates who was in a better goal scoring position. And as for the lad on loan from Wolves, his performance was shocking.

Applehead's decision to play 4-5-1 in the first half was poor. Personally I think he is tactically inept.

Any fan having a pop at Sadler has an awfully short memory. Jesus, man.

Yeah this window has been mega frustrating. Maybe Mansford shouldn’t have come out & said we had a bigger budget than last year, but ffs, we’ve come so far in such a short time under Simon and the board. There’s still a few weeks of the window left. I’m worried we don’t have the fire power, but it’s not like we’re being outclassed and battered 4-0 every week.

Today was arguably the best performance of the season so far. We created loads, we just need a proven goal scorer. Sadly, at this level, they cost a lot
 
Personally, if someone offered 1.5m for bowler I'd take it. He just doesn't seem to think it's a team game. There were some good performances today. Dougal, Thompson Yates and Ekpateta in particular. But too many weren't at the races and that is something that needs addressing. Not sure Appleton is the guy to do it. He just doesn't inspire confidence. So far as throwing things at Mr Sadler, that is well out of order.
