That team will pick up enough points over the next 6 games in my opinion. Playing the likes of Bowler, Dale, Carey, Sterling, James or Connolly will weaken us and inevitably we will be in the mire!

Its back to basics. Pick the team that resembles last years team the most and play it. Keogh has done ok but out of all the signings in the summer only Lavery and Wintle strengthen us. You could argue that a fit Ward and/or Stewart then we wouldn't have signed Wintle either. As I said the recruitment has been poor.

It does depend on how much investment is left in the budget for January but we need 2/3 recognised players that will need paying for and I don't mean £500k on Dale who has been a huge disappointment. Theres a lot of work needed on shifting players out too. Far too big a squad with a good chunk who aren't good enough.
