Can we stop them? Cheers, done it all season long.
50 years actually. They were sublime in for most of the seventies with Bill Bentley floating the to the near post and Micky Walsh either glancing them in or glancing them out for others to run on to and score. Such a good routine.Corners and set pieces have rarely been Blackpools strong point for the last 60 years.

Spot on.Can we stop them? Cheers, done it all season long.
Unfortunately Garbutt is an expensive crock who will contribute little. It seems we currently don't have anyone who can whip the ball in at a decent pace, I think Garbutt may be able to when he's back. Don't get me on about outswinging corners either.
I trust those in player recruitment are in a better position than you or I to assess these things.Unfortunately Garbutt is an expensive crock who will contribute little.
What about Paul Simpson’s corners? I remember we were almost guaranteed to score when he took a corner!50 years actually. My thinking has always been that if your set plays, particularly corners aren't good/working then the taker should be told just to put the ball in an area, like the penalty spot and let the players sort the rest out. Don't try to be clever.Spot on.
With all the analysis that goes on, allegedly, the coaching staff should be able to identify what constitutes "good delivery".
If that's your job you should be spending a lot more time practising and if you're not up to let someone else have a go. Kaikai free kicks and corners were shocking last night.
Garbutt is reputedly a free kick specialist so lets see him have go on Saturday.
Unfortunately Garbutt is an expensive crock who will contribute little.
West HamOh I don't know. Fergie reckoned Charlie's corners were worth £10M. Who was the one against that went straight in in front of us on the Kop PL season ?
Unfit when he signed and broke down straightaway. Doesn't augur well does it?I trust those in player recruitment are in a better position than you or I to assess these things.
It’s always a risk. You take your chance & sometimes it works to your benefitUnfit when he signed and broke down straightaway. Doesn't augur well does it?
True. Another without a club prior to signing so unlikely to pull up any trees. It’s always a risk. You take your chance & sometimes it works to your benefit

Yes. Unfortunately I get annoyed and frustrated with our performances and results, and with those who refuse to see or admit to Critchley's and players deficiences.I do actually agree with some of your postings.
Just need to temper them with the odd glimpse of optimism.
There was a time when corners and free kicks used to excite me .. I stick the kettle on with this side at the moment! Can we stop them? Cheers, done it all season long.

You live by the sword....
One swallow doesn't make a summer. You live by the sword....
That ball twatted some alien in the face and caused an intergalatic war .Russel Coughlin wasn't too shabby either.....apart from the penalty at Burnden when he cleared the roof of the Normid Superstore.
7 out of 9 swallows makes it a damn good November thoughOne swallow doesn't make a summer.
I live in Westhoughton.. 6 miles away and it went past my windowRussel Coughlin wasn't too shabby either.....apart from the penalty at Burnden when he cleared the roof of the Normid Superstore.
