Wasn’t a great game but considering we had a player off was a fine result & thought Rogers had a poor game besides his role in the goal, Bowler made a fine impact when he came on. I still think Mick will keep us up.
Both subs were good considering they both got the goals.
Was really happy walking around the stadium today thinking how far we have come the last few years & was great to see so many kids and teens at the game alot with grandparents who hopefully one day will be there with their grandkids.
Met Simon Sadler today too and chatted briefly and what a really nice and kind man, we got a good man at the helm.
Also coincidentally met Mick McCarthy as he was heading presumably from his car this afternoon to the reception and got to shake his hand and told him it was his Roi side that got me interested in football as a young kid.
Bringing my girls to a game in March sent them some snaps of the game their excited to go which is always happy for a father to hear.
