Reason he hasn't been getting time is because Barry Bannan is ahead of him in the CAM pecking order, which IMO, he can be forgiven for.

Looks raw, but talented and with one year left we can probably get a good deal for him.

Norwich might be interested, but no reports of a bid yet.

Sheffield Wednesday fans seem to really rate him.

What world do the massive live in, wanting over a million for their ‘5th choice’ midfielder in league 1
 
Well he's out of contract next season, hasn't played that many games and none above League 1. Their fans saying £2-3M are dreamers, if we wouldn't stump up £1M for a proven L1 midfielder, I doubt we'll offer more than £500K. All a moot point if Norwich are genuinely interested.
 
Well I get that part but it may not come down to wages, it depends if he wants to play more regularly and progress. Norwich have a big squad.
 
The argument that players would go somewhere for a better chance of first team football - by and large footballers probably think they can get in the first team wherever they go so it will all be about money. As said, if Norwich are genuinely interested then we've very little chance. But it does depend on whether he's one of their top targets or if he's just on their radar. I'd suggest that there's no genuine interest from them otherwise they'd have signed him already, as he'll be well within their budget. For us though, I suspect we've missed out on our targets and that's why we've only just bid for him.

There's a lot of ifs and buts in that I know.

The simple reply is that we had our chance. We were run by vermin who cared not a jot about BFC and yet people still defended them.

Things could and should have been different.

The Star understands that the Owls have rebuffed an offer of upwards of half a million pounds for the powerful midfield man, and it remains to be seen at this point whether the Seasiders will return with an improved bid.

Puts to bed the 'we have no money' argument!

Out of contract in a year, although due to his age he'll still command compensation, it's possible the club could put some pressure onto Wednesday over this.

I don't think there have been that many released this year, last year seems to have been a bit of an exception.
 
Didn’t Karl make bids for players knowing they wouldn’t get accepted? We have seen this a few times now.

Our problem is what we think is ‘having money’ is actually still peanuts for championship level clubs looking to pick up genuinely good first team players from other clubs. The reality is we still have no money even when we have it!

The thing is that, apart from one or two clubs, nobody is spending money at the moment, and yet third flight clubs still think their players are worth £1m+, so that's screwing up an awful lot of transfers.
 
Tony Parr will be relieved if we don't get him - can already hear him making a hash of pronouncing his name every home game 🤣

So, Blackpool might well be the preferred destination in regards to game-time and whatever.
