I don't know if would be available in a Waterstones that far away from Blackpool anyway, as it won't be in every store, but either way as of today Waterstones haven't received their copies yet, so I don't know when they will have it other than I've been told to expect it this week
 
Waterstones b.pool today told me it’s due in sometime this wk and that there has been lot’s of enquiries! I’ve got it on order but was going to buy another copy today as I’m impatient lol
 
My preorder has gone from 'Awaiting Fulfilment' to ''Awaiting Shipping' (A Great Read)...
 
From Waterstones (from my order in April last year)

"Item status: Awaiting stock"

Let's hope the stock is on its way.

Sorry it's not out yet, I was originally told it would be ready Monday, but I only got the files to review myself then (a separate company converts the manuscript to an e-book and it requires a proof). I sent that back yesterday and was told it can take a few days to go up on Amazon. So, like with the physical copies I really don't know when it is available unfortunately. Only that it is a matter of days.

Cheers - ordered the hard back months ago, but will take weeks to get here!!

...need to read before AVFTT ruins it.
 
mine has also gone back to April 2nd !

I did order last year, I am sure, however when I looked I couldn't see any trace of the order(Amazon changed the way you can view pre orders a little while ago).

So I reordered again last week !

The Royal Mail tracking website is down!

I blame this Russians 🤣

When I ordered it was free delivery, but second class (if I'd known it would be 11 months I might have gone first class 😁)

I can wait a few more days 👍

Yeah, I was gonna say if it was very recent it's possible they have sold out their stock and are buying more from the publisher (which would add some time on to the delivery date), but last update I had was they were only halfway through stock, so it's not that. If other retailers are receiving their copies (WH Smith/Waterstones) then Amazon will be too, so I cant see why it would take any longer. Fingers crossed!

Just been on Waterstones - they are saying out of stock and next stock should be within 10 working days, I'll stick with Amazon and hope the lead time reduces 😭

I saw that. Waterstones in store will have some very soon in Blackpool though so keep an eye on their twitter account as they will be announcing when they get them I think.

Online could be sold out on Waterstones because they ordered way less copies than Amazon, so they will have to order more from the publisher which would explain the 10 day timeframe. I think it's also possible their system just *thinks* they are sold out, since their stock hasnt arrived yet. Although it sounds like it may have done today.

How is the Sunday Times list calculated ? do we know over what period ?

I'll add that if Waterstones has sold out of their initial batch order, we are probably pushing closeish to 1000 sales, which isn't a million miles away from top 10 apparently

Ordered mine on Amazon on the 14th March (ordered it a bit late because I was going to download on Kindle but I changed my mind preferring the hardback). Received an email about 15 minutes ago saying estimated delivery date 2nd April. I live in Blackpool so location not the issue. Really looking forward to it.
