All needless points dropped bring the same risible metaphorical response.

Like a letdown diner in a dire restaurant.

Terrible food - and rotten small portions!

Critchley's flaws arose late in a first spell, then at Villa and Queens Park Rangers.

The club's poor coach appointments that brought the drop gave patrons a chance.

Appleton 2.0 reran the owner's duff picks.

Grayson again?

Before McCarthy's replacement, supporters could have used their leverage.

The message should have proved clear.

Many would not renew season tickets if the job went to another recent flop.

Instead, addicts paid up once again.

Buy in haste, repent at leisure.

Bottled out?

It applies both in the boardroom and the stands.

In the realm of football lore, a tale unfolds,
Of Neil Critchley, where fortune's grip holds.
With passion ablaze and dreams in his eye,
He stepped forth, ambitious, reaching for the sky.
But Fate, a fickle mistress, had her own design,
And Critchley's path met a turbulent line.
Through trials and tribulations, he did strive,
Yet failure's shadow seemed to thrive.
In the crucible of pressure, where heroes are made,
Critchley faltered, his plans delayed.
Defeat's bitter taste, a harsh reminder,
That even the boldest dreams can be unkinder.
Yet in the heart of failure, a seed is sown,
A resilience, a spirit, not easily overthrown.
For Critchley, though bruised, refused to yield,
His determination an unbreakable shield.
So let this tale of Neil Critchley's plight,
Be a testament to courage, burning bright.
For in failure's wake, if we dare to see,
Lies the essence of true tenacity.

Send this off to the Lancashire Hotpots! Would sound brilliant to music 🎶 🎵 👍

Whilst some of the points are valid, am not sure why the fans are responsible as the o/p's title says?

I love how regardless of everything you always mention the food. I really respect it.
