Was always amazed he had actor on his CV seeing as he could barely muffle his way through a sentence.Arthur Mullard the cockney character actor stood behind me at Highbury in the League Cup tie in 1968.

No, but he was very Ray Winstone if you know what I mean!!Did he have any snooker balls in a sock .
Pretty sure he was dating Thornleys sister at some pointI've said this story before on here but Gary Neville sat a few seats from me amongst the Blackpool fans at Port Vale away in the early 00s to watch his ex United teammate Ben Thornley. He was in his United and England pomp at the time so it was quite the spectacle.
Yep , remember him more as a comic stooge than anything else. Was always amazed he had actor on his CV seeing as he could barely muffle his way through a sentence.
Yeah i remember him sat in the North side old West standSaw Nick Hancock (Stoke fan) in The Bloomfield pub before we played them.
In the 80s or 90s.
Jeff Stelling was watching the Florist v BFC play off semi in 2010 in the Irish Pub roud th corner from the BBC or Granada(can't remember which) just off Deansgate. Then again, so was half of Blackpool. It was like a Blackpool home game but in an away pub.
EDIT: That's Manchester for those who dont venture out much

I believe he was, at that time, the possessor (can’t say “owner”, he didn’t deserve it) of Stanley Matthew’s FA Cup winner’s medal.Saw Nick Hancock (Stoke fan) in The Bloomfield pub before we played them.

Yes - i sat next to this couple, and did wonder why they were so well dressed for a league one match at Shrewsbury. Here's a thing.
At Shrewsbury there were a very well dressed couple in the away end. It felt to me as if they had the vibe of being notable people. I didn't recognise them though.
They were dressed in that rather tailored look that defines really expensive clothing and both wore immaculate tangerine and white bar scarves. He had a quality brolly with him. I assume the stewards went all defferent when they strolled up and let him in.
If it was you, kudos for being so sartorially notable.
If it was someone famous or successful, who was it?
