Saw him in about 1967 with Peggy Seeger at. Blackpool Folk Club session, and again in Preston Arts Centre in the mid 80's. Peggy Seeger was a fantastic musician and was proficient on many instruments. Their like will never be seen again.

I had an idea he played with the Dubliners, and in Wiki ing it, rediscovered what I actually knew years ago, that Dirty Old Town was actually about Salford, and first recorded by the Spinners. I have read many times recently that it was actually about Dublin, wrong.
