After a good start England now struggling once again at 178-5.

Seriously what the hell is going on with the ODI side?

They seem to find ways to get out as opposed to bowlers brilliance getting them out, with the dismissals of Root, Malan and Buttler being perfect examples, it just defies logic.
 
It's really just hard to fathom out, I understand a couple of players being out of nick, but the bloody lot of them seem to be in some sort of slump and cannot get out of it.

They need to take a long hard look at what's gone wrong at this World Cup and come up with some solutions quickly, you just cannot go from double white ball world champions to absolute donkeys in such a short period of time, it beggars belief.

We just need to hope Ben Stokes can weave his magic now and a couple of tail enders can stick with him to post a decent score.
 
Well we've posted over 300, so surely even our bowlers can get us over the line against the Dutch. Great knocks from Stokes, Malan and Woakes. The less said about Bairstow, Root, Brook and Buttler, the better, absolutely woeful again.
 
Moeen never turns up when you need him. Bairstow, Buttler and Brooks all incapable of playing to the situation of the match. Catching practice. Kids stuff really.

Agreed, we have been woeful in this WC and confidence is clearly at an all time low so to post 339 is fine, let’s not forget the Dutch have been competitive in this WC and are not the same side we posted almost 500 against a couple of years ago.

Now over to the bowlers to get stuck in to them.
 
Net Run Rate could be critical here.

We really need to get them out cheaply here - easier said than done!

Buttler has been as useful as a chocolate fireguard at batting, keeping wicket and skippering the side at this World Cup.

Unfortunately he has been one of the big problems because when it comes to the big dance, you need your stars to put their hands up and perform, even a clearly injured Ben Stokes did that today as did an injured Maxwell did yesterday, Buttler has been a liability the whole tournament for us, averaging a paltry 15 which quite frankly is diabolical for a player of his ability.

Probably not enough money in this tourny to motivate him.
