Walker, Rice, Bellingham, Foden, Saka, Kane are all world class. We have 60 players who would walk in to scotlands best 11I'd back Brazil every time. Three or four world class players; the rest Scotland standard.
If I was Southgate I wouldn’t take Rashford this summer. Gordon would get the nod.I’m fed up of seeing Rashford in an England shirt. He’s a bang average forward at best and rarely offers anything for England. If he wasn’t at Man U he’d be nowhere near a call up. Our options at left back are depressing too after having Ashley Cole for so many years.
Surely Keinan Dewsbury-Hall - albeit he plays in the Championship - should be in contention for an England call up? You can’t tell me the likes of Henderson offers more
It's not Rashford you should be worried about. The defensive vulnerabilities reared up again, as they tend to against better quality opposition. The problem Southgate has, is that there isn't anyone suitable to step up and replace Maguire. Left back is also a concern. Agree that Gordon did well last night, but it's starting to look as though there isn't much depth up front once Kane and Saka are unavailable. No such worries in midfield - that's the good news. Brazil's persistent fouling of our midfield creators would have been punished more harshly in a competitive match. If I was Southgate I wouldn’t take Rashford this summer. Gordon would get the nod.
Agree with that. I think when we have our strongest back 4 playing we are more solid but the way Vinicius got through in the first half was concerning, luckily he didn’t connect too well with his shot and Walker got there in time. Maguire although usually steady he’s got a mistake in him. I like what I have seen from Braithwaite this season but he’s lacking experience. Hope he gets the full 90 on Tuesday as I think him and Stones together at the back would work. It's not Rashford you should be worried about. £25 tickets for travel club members, £30 for normal members.Just another excuse for the football authorities to cream another huge pay packet out of the gullible football fan. They demand a huge fee for use of the this massively expensive Wembley stadium - they are really taking the piss out of football fans as a whole.
W4ners that they are - will never bother to go and support an England team in this country ever again. Fick corporate Wembley
Not seen much of Braithwaite. Hope you're right about him. Still 3 friendlies to come before the Euros.Agree with that. Hopefully Shaw is fit in time for the summer as I don’t feel comfortable with Chilwell at all.

Not bad to be honest!

It was a friendly. Means nothing and gave a run out to a few fringe players. The only team in this country that can move the ball around at Brazil’s pace is Citeh. They could have been three up after 20 mins. They are instinctive footballers, who don’t even need coaching; they are born to it. We have players like Gordon and Gallagher who both put in lung bursting effort, but lack the vision and close control of their opponents. They both remind me of Carlton Palmer . England do have some players who are comfortable on the ball under pressure; Foden, Bellingham, and Mainoo ( who never seemed rushed ). The One, Two Three quick passing triangles opened England up with dazzling regularity. We could never manage more than one, two’s. Therein lies the difference. Chilwell had a mare, and Maguire takes far too long to move the ball on. There is still time bring in Skill-based players. I think of Cole Palmer, and Jared Bowen who did Ok when he came on. Even the best team in the world is always going to struggle if it can’t keep a clean sheet.
Which perfectly demonstrates how a poor, defensively-minded coach can make even the best players in the country appear bang average. We have players that we know can play defence splitting passes because they do it for their clubs on a weekly basis but none of them even try to play one when they put on an England shirt. Has to come down to the coaching. Side to side to side to side eventually play it down the wing then cross every single time. So predictable
I was there on Saturday and there was more entertainment watching the paper airplanes raining downYou can tell from how quiet the large crowd is

I did wonder about that at the start of the match, but I thought he had a good game. Could have clamped down a bit more on Brazil's persistent fouling in the first half and would probably have done so in a competitive match.Who came up with the idea of picking a Portuguese ref for this game
