Good for you. If only the 'rent a shites' had the same opinion as you.No idea, it doesn't effect my life in any way whatsoever, it's a cross on a shirt.

Well they haven't because it's in their interests to stir shite up.Good for you. If only the 'rent a shites' had the same opinion as you.
Then I’d suggest you look up ther term ‘woke’I've not read this thread in detail but yes, you are right about the flag of St. George. However, 'woke'? I don't know what that's got to do with the matter.
I know exactly what it means. I am also aware of those who would misrepresent its meaning for their own, malicious intent. Then I’d suggest you look up ther term ‘woke’
I wonder how Nike would react if someone playfully interpreted the Nike swoosh.I like the shirt but detest what they've done with the St George's Cross. Nike describe it as a playful interpretation, I bet they wouldn't do the same with the star spangled banner!
What does this even mean?Knowing him, just political posturing.
Being one of Corbyns boot lickers he wouldn't have cared a f*** about St George
You do seem keen on telling people how to live don't you? That's as maybe but it's England, the national flag, and part of our identity. Stop using football as a platform to push BLM, LGBTQxy ** z. It's a pride flag, it's a disgrace. Do you see heterosexual people walking round with the black and white striped flags, t shirts saying straight and proud. No, people just get on with it. It's like they're looking for some sort of approval and feel the need to push it in our faces. Then you have the "oh the you're racist if you show the flag if sent george". No I'm English, proud to be and proud to be from Blackpool. Turning into a country of namby pambys and it needs to stop. All these pro Palestine wankers, go and support pride in Palestine. You'd probably get stoned to death and have your eyes gouged out. Kids growing up in school being taught about multiple genders. No there's two that's it. Kids growing up in schools identifying as ** cats. Get a grip, parents get a grip. Your child should be removed from you for child safeguarding. Wake up not woke up.
Nearly forgot, let's remember we get irate when tangerine is called orange. It's our identity, and if that doesn't wind you up then you're no fan. I see the local rag can't even get that one right

Nothing to do with telling people how to live. If your English, live in England respect the country, respect the national flag. No educating you lefty wet wipes. You do seem keen on telling people how to live don't you?
You OK hun?
So it's everything to do with telling people what to do?Nothing to do with telling people how to live. If your English, live in England respect the country, respect the national flag. No educating you lefty wet wipes.
You seem very very angry. It's the backbone of what this country was built on, nothing to do with telling people what to do. It should be bred into you from birth and people like you Phillip are part of the problem, pandering to all this bull. Did you not get chinned in the Rose & Crown for spouting your lefty crap?
that really isn't the issue is it? If the flag isn't on the shirt then fair enough but if you're gonna put the flag on then do it correctly and do it right. ie red cross on white backgroundThe cross of St George was not on the 1966 world cup winning kit. In fact I don't think it was on any until recently.
Who the fuck is Philip? It's the backbone of what this country was built on, nothing to do with telling people what to do. It should be bred into you from birth and people like you Phillip are part of the problem, pandering to all this bull. Did you not get chinned in the Rose & Crown for spouting your lefty crap?
Was it not Great Britain though? It’s interesting trying to pinpoint when the St George’s cross became a ‘thing’ at football. Looking at pictures from the 50s-90s, it’s all Union Jacks.
On the cross controversy, no one gave a toss when the Olympics kits and previous England football kits messed with the flag.

You can clearly see the white was added to turn it into the St George's cross on one, and it's still St George's Cross on the other. The flag out line on the keepers kit fine. None of those in the article are pushing these bullsh1t Pride agendas, which is what it is. If you want to be that way inclined crack on with it but why parade round seeking approval. Cross dress it up how you like it's wrong and some idiot in the FA needs sacking. We don't change our countries flag for anyone, wars were fought to protect our country. Here's the other times people have messed with the flag , in the days before everyone got really mad at such things as is the fashion these days.
Every time England have played in kits with non-traditional St George's Cross
The Three Lions have worn corrupted crosses on nine different shirts - and never worn the traditional English flaginews.co.uk
It's the colours of the bi pride flag. Football being used to push agendas againWhy is it a pride agenda?
It literally isn't the bi flag. It's the colours of the bi pride flag. Football being used to push agendas again
Or maybe Blackpool for a changeIt's pathetic. I'm supporting Scotland now.
Maybe not but it certainly isn't the flag of St George in those coloursIt literally isn't the bi flag.
No argument there, it objectively isnt and I can see why people would want the actual accurate St.George's flag, I probably think it should have it too. But as evident in this thread different variations of it have been commonplace on kits for decades now and never mustered this much manufactured outrage. I think a more rational response against it would be something like 'good/bad kit overall but I would prefer the accurate flag and it's well over priced". Basically reasonable calm disagreements over a design choice. Think "disgraceful" is a tad melodramatic and the fallout from this exceptionally funny.Maybe not but it certainly isn't the flag of St George in those colours
Disgraceful from Nike and whatever idiot at the FA signed it off
the key here is that if it isn't a red cross on a white background then it isn't a St Georges cross. It's that simple. There are no variations of it when it comes to colour. Any change of colour and then it is not a St Georges cross so therefore not the flag of England. No argument there, it objectively isnt and I can see why people would want the actual accurate St.George's flag, I probably think it should have it too. As I said in the post you are replying to this is objectively true and I don't have a problem with people wanting it to be the proper cross and being reasonably disappointed.the key here is that if it isn't a red cross on a white background then it isn't a St Georges cross. It's that simple. There are no variations of it when it comes to colour. Any change of colour and then it is not a St Georges cross so therefore not the flag of England.
Perhaps the Sun can start a national campaign? It will not happen, unfortunately, but I just wish the whole country would boycott the buying of these replica shirts, effectively giving a massive one or two-fingered salute to Nike and those imbeciles at the FA.
It would massively hit the Yanks big time, financially.
Well three lions is just as obscure irrelevant to England.St George was actually a Turk of Greek origin, born in Palestine near Tel Aviv and served in the Roman army.
I guess there's an English connection somewhere along the line.
Adidas are German though innit, can never remember which brother was a bit of a Nazi though, Mr Adidas or Mr Puma.Just seen German media starting to lose it over the German national team switching to Nike from Adidas. Wait a couple of years for the Nike designers to include a playful take on a certain German symbol.
