Visited both stadiums and the home ends are equally impressive....
The sheer size of the Yellow Wall though, does take your breath away.
Would love to visit La Bombonera, home of Boca Juniors in Buenos Aires... it's basically three sided and the three tiered stands are structurally amazing; you wonder how they stay up.... The atmosphere generated looks off the scale.

Dortmund were petitioning fans when I went, basically telling fans not to sell tickets to non-BVB fans and to ensure the yellow wall remained tourist free. I guess the Nord Kurve will be the same. Getting tickets elsewhere was simple enough though and whilst it would be great to be in the yellow wall, watching it is pretty amazing also. I'd encourage anyone to give German football a try, even if it is one of the smaller clubs, they really do seem to create an excellent environment for their supporters.
I'm already looking forward to Gelsenkirchen, Frankfurt and Cologne next month.

Group of us go to Germany each year and love the experience. The fans, grounds, beer etc all first class.....and usually cheap tickets. If you do want to go to Dortmund, try joining the away team as a member and then get a ticket that way....worked for us.
