Noticed Queen of the South have parted with their manager after a disappointing season. Dobs has almost God like status in Dumfries and there will a clamour to bring him in. Will he go if asked? Not sure, I wouldn’t blame him. Maybe he’s looking for something at a higher level or is he happy doing what he’s doing for now?
 
Possibly missed it but I did post elsewhere that we aren't having a Development Squad next season so if he is staying he'll need another job title.

Amazing how our first team squad bought into the plan to halt all development a year early. A truly holistic approach at BFC.

He can’t expect to start much higher surely ??? 5 games in what was a lost cause with us doesn’t get him an elevated job. QOS is his club too

If it’s offered to him I’m sure he would take it, why wouldn’t he? He’s more than ready to coach men’s football, he’s done great with the kids but he will have ambition.

As now, they’ll go out on loan most of them never to be heard of again.

Oh for a coach who values its young players. Why would any young player want to come to Blackpool?

Good news if true. Development squads waste of time and money. Just have a first team and a youth team under 18s and invest in a couple of proper scouts who know the obscure overseas market and have contacts with the big boys for when they release youth players.

You would have to say the salary and travelling/accommodation costs are going to be prohibitive for a club that size.
He has to be kept on at Pool in a first-team roll anyway to help Crotchless grow a pair😋
