THIS is in South Wales. IF anyone saw this online. A family of EIGHT ran up a bill of around four hundred pounds. steaks desserts at a restaurant . owners became suspicious when orders were half eaten. the woman attempted to pay. Card declined three times. Not exactly sure what happened after that. But they left saying that someoine would be returning with a valid card. Of course they didnt. not the first time either. They have arrested abd charged with fraud . could be wrong . But how could anyone sit there knowing that they had no intention of paying. And the hard working owners leaving them out of pocket for quite a large amount. . . JEEZ.
 
I used to own pubs with high food percentage and a restaurant, people leaving without paying became a real problem. They think that restaurants make fortunes, so it doesn’t matter. Some of course do, but the majority don’t.

Any Good Pub Guide (real ale) pubs Mates?
 
Personally i would be mortified doing this. There was a couple on Merseyside who did it multiple times. If i am not charged for food then that is different. a few months back i wasnt billed for a couple of coffees at the local cafe near me. But its so busy that they are going to make the odd mistake. And i did tell them but they waived it away.
