Having shipped five in that debacle tonight I'd guess his first thought will be to shore up the defence for Saturday. Hope springs that he'll do the opposite and just go for it, but this is Critchley of course. What's it going to look like? Another back five where we perm any random five from nine? Or could he abandon this hopeless system and revert to a four plus defensive shield?

His stubbornness to change will be his downfall.
Everyone should be their own critique, otherwise how would we adapt and evolve?

I think if we change formation it will be after Wigan. Two week league break.
 
I actually think we'll sign some wingers to give us the option of a back four in games where NC believes it gives us the best chance. We couldn't really play a back four effectively right now with the attacking players we have imo. So I can understand why we're using wingbacks.
I really hope any players we do sign before Saturday are signed in time to play a part, because we all need a bit of a boost, and even a score draw would offer that right now.

Im not sure we can play any system well enough to trouble the automatic promotion battle. Lacking strikers and wide players for any system probably.
