Critchley - manager of the month?

Yep, January the month where opimism levels increased only for February to come and bring us all back to reality.

So when the team go unbeaten the manager gets the praise, maybe even an award, yet when the team are shite it's the players fault!!!
Come on Wiz, Critch gets far more stick on here than anyone.
Occasionally players come in for criticism but not every single day like Critch
Even when there are totally unrelated threads about Blackpool someone will bring his name up and criticise him.

I’ve just checked Macs poll and it appears that 2/3 of fans on here are still backing Critchley, it would be futile to pot him now in fact it would be funking stupid.

If peeps can’t see that backing the manager and the team for the rest of the season is our only option to have a chance of promotion this year it really is a poor doo.

Ahha , at last you’ve seen the light.😉
IMO not manager of the month, but i like him as manager, there are goods and bad's as there are with every manager and player in the land but i do believe he will get us to where we want to be (my opinion), unfortunately football fans are not the most patient, but i think that will be in every or the majority of clubs in the country. Let's wait and see time will tell but i do think he needs a couple of seasons.

Critchley is to blame for the town not getting the Supercasino and the delay in the new tram terminus.

Far too negative with his selections. Port Vale manager was sacked for poor results but did a number on Critchley as so many others also manage. Stevenage he went for a draw and ended up losing and that is typical of the way we play.
The opposition simply wait us out till we make a glaring error they capitalise on.
I wanted him to take the handbrake off, but obviously he prefers to try to bore people to the point of no longer caring, than actually going for it

What or who are negative selections? we all have our own opinion on who should and shouldn't be playing and what formations/system/tactics we should be playing and in our own minds we are all correct. IMO I don't think they ever go out to draw any game from the outset they may think that last ten minutes so they come away with something, but as we have seen in the last two games luck isn't always on our side.

You make your own luck
CJ and Eki are both liabilities or negative selections, at the moment but CJ could be used as a late impact sub with no defensive responsibility

You do i agree, the problem is at the moment IMO a few of the players are hot and cold, we don't seem to have many games especially away from home where we are consistent, i think they are both good players but things haven't gone their way recently, hopefully that will change soon

Yet drop Ekpiteta and half of this board will slag Critchley for doing it.

Everyone sees things differently and that includes Critchley. He can do something about it, we can't.

If you were describing a team in rebuild it just fits us like a glove. Some times brilliant, sometimes sh1te, sometimes exciting and attacking other times dull and boring or just caught in between. Nobody wants to hear it but its just gonna take time and patience to get it right. We might get play offs, we might not. I'm just not gonna place any more bets on us 😂

Great post. Captures in a nutshell Blackpool's appalling approach throughout the course of this campaign. And let's be perfectly honest here, we're very lucky to find ourselves in the position we presently occupy - thanks, essentially, to a mixture of pure good fortune, combined with a host of our closest rivals proceeding to do the honourable thing by seemingly falling on the sword just as a play-off place falls tantalisingly withih touching distance.

Thanks Stevenage, Oxford Utd et al., we owe you more than you could possibly know ...
