Jesus, talk about an echo chamber… I think the club has gone into its own private little World of ‘progression and the project’.
Pearls include - the ‘run in the cup’ could be used as a ‘catalyst’ to progress in the league. (What on Earth…?)
It’s a great game to ‘bounce back’ (he says this most weeks)
We like to go into games ‘on the front foot’ and give the fans ‘something to get excited about’
I appreciate these things are the clubs own spin but Jesus… where is the brutal honesty? ‘Sorry about Tuesday, we were shocking. I’ll change that…’ and some decent bloody questions put…
The guy is in cloud cuckoo land - no empathy with how the fans are feeling. I can just sens him doing his new found ‘death stare’ on Saturday at anyone expressing distaste. And I predict the dugout will have the return of that grim reaper fella in the long black coat who likes manhandling people as the club doubles down.
The only contrition has come from Rich O’Donnell who was probably the only guy who didn’t need to apologise.
