Critch now looks and acts like Appy Mk2

Watching an arms folded Critch on the touchline reminds me completely of Appy.
No spirit, ideas or gestures just occasionally a double handed hand gesture and excitingly at one time a little jump.
It was about as exciting as the match which seems there for the taking but?
Has he run "his course"? Even Dembele appears to be losing interest. He looked like thunder when he came off.
To me he has but am I missing something?

He was probably frustrated as the poor play, as were many.

As for Dembele looking like thunder.... thunder is noise, I thought he looked like... boom, bang.

One thing that Appleton and Critchley both have in common is that they both had a load of loadmouthed old know-alls sat behind them in the West.

Funny as I thought he’s been more animated over the past 6 weeks than I’ve ever seen him?

He was tearing the fourth official a second arsehole at one stage and the ref told him to calm down.

People are now just making shit up to have a cheap dig. Absolutely pathetic, but that's AVFTT these days.
Yeah I don’t get it?
It’s just getting plain silly now. By all means say you dislike the formation, think Charlie Adams shorts were too long or that Brad Potts doesn’t really deserve skinning with a potato peeler whilst strapped to North Pier but so much bollox being posted now.

The posts are borne out of frustration is my view. Every time we think we are going somewhere we don't back it up, away form is dreadful and apart from the odd game the entertainment is not that great.

We now have the manager saying he gets the frustration but he has to look beyond the result and look at the process or something like that. Im all for building foundations and club DNA or a process if that is what you want to call it but when do we see any tangible benefit to the process?

Yes, we have won more games than last year but we are in a division below. I want Critchley to be a success in fact I don't really care who is the manager as long as we have a degree of success and are entertained by an attractive playing style.

It's the suspense that kills you, each time we put in a performance and you think yes that's it we invariable put in a dire performance. Why can't we find any consistency?

Spot on Luker
I’ve been a regular contributor to this forum since it began and when you analyse it all hen thankfully it is a relatively low percentage who ALWAYS have a dig come what may.
Perhaps if all us genuine supporters totally ignored their negativity they might just disappear.
Then again Fleetwood might win the Premiership

IMO its only people getting excited after a win that people think we can kick on, realistically we have never been close to challenging as of yesterday, what the next ten games bring none of us know. For me it was always a two - four year project so this season is something to build on.

So basically, your OP is bullshit and you've posted it for attention. FFS, how old are some of you?
I did neither but having been to virtually every game home and away as I did last year and the years before .I detect the same malaise which I saw in Graysons last era, Certainly Appy who I hated and now it's taking over C. If results don't improve you Critch lovers will be drowned out by boos.
I have more to do with my time than "post for attention" but I am a "concerned" fan ,not a feeble keyboard warrier which you are depicting yourself at this time .

I'm not being funny when I ask this, but who are "us genuine supporters?" Aren't all BFC supports exactly that?
I've noted recently, that anyone who passes critical comment about anything BFC related, they are immediately attacked by the same posters.
I never verbally attack the team or 'hate' NC (some posters have bazaarly tagged others as 'Critchley haters'), but I do believe all supporters are entitled to their opinion, whether I agree with it or not. If criticisms are outrageous, (like saying SS is no better than the scum) I just laugh, as it helps keep my blood pressure under control.

Doubt it. They don't play in Scotland!

585, I don’t think you are being funny at all mate and it’s a genuine question.
IMO “genuine” supporters are those who “support” the team through thick and thin.
I really don’t mind supporters passing opinion on games but there are regular posters on here who constantly slag off everything about BFC so to me they aren’t “genuine”.
You may have a different take it on it mate so I won’t argue with that.

because he is the leader,it’s a easy answer,he is the leader of the silly posters and thank you for you’re imput Gareth, hope you’re having a nice evening, are you in high field social club,

Jesus wept. Anyway, never been to Highfield Social in my life!

There’s nothing wrong with posting the observation that Critchley is one of the least animated managers we have had on the touch line during a game. He makes Simon Grayson look like Chuck Norris in a bar brawl on amphetamines. His in game management is similarly static.

I occasionally glance at Critchley after a mistake. What I like is he never shouts and screams, if he does anything, it's clearly instruction about what they're doing next. Some coaches don't do that and it's wrong - there is no benefit to yelling at someone who makes a mistake, they are professionals, they know when they messed up! Only thing that ever matters in sport is what you do next.

Animation wise, there are many ways to skin a cat. Some great managers are all energy, some save it for the dressing room. Some rubbish managers are the same however...
