Could Critchley still be good for us

I'm having a mellow Sunday morning & feel in a conciliatory mood .................

I've reflected on NC's departure & like most I was stunned by the abruptness of it. This led me to an irrational, kneejerk personal response - the grief phase perhaps.
His time here was massively successful & probably exceeded all of our initial expectations.
I'm sure he will have genuine reasons for going but I thank him for his time here & celebrate what he did.

However my post wishes to debate the good he could potentially do for us in the future.
We all know he is an amazing coach, is well regarded in the upper echelons of the game where he must have some fabulous contacts.
If, and I know it's a big if, he has a genuine affiliation with out Club he could provide a route to identifying potential loanees and/or permanent signing targets.
Surely this could be to our long term benefit?

Don't burn bridges or is his departure (or the manner of his departure) too raw for us just now?

I doubt Critchley will have any leeway to do anything other than focus on his coaching at Villa and we’ve already seen how Villa operate…I wouldn’t be surprised if the BFC hierarchy never hear from him again.

Not one player has come out and said they’ve had so much as a good luck for the future text off the gaffer

Aren't you just putting your own spin on zero information there?

Sadler has said he will always be welcome back at the club. And that he will miss Critch.
