I've been fairly relaxed about his team selections so far, but opting for Husband over Ballard at CB last night really baffled me
 
I have thoughts about NC myself. He has been used to coaching the best of the best kids, mostly aged in 16-19 bracket. They are keen, and listen to his every word. They believe it to be Gospel. He is now dealing with men. These are Professional Footballers with their own opinions and agenda. Has he ever managed men before? Has he ever played the game professionally ? They may think he’s talking nonsense. It’s a big jump from one to the other. He may be out of his depth.
 
Get someone with leadership skills and experience at the level we are playing at into the club quickly, both on the pitch and in the coaching staff.

Substitutions. Think about the state of the game and how the subs will make it better for us, either defensively or in attack. Too often it seems you've made your mind up in advance, and the subs make us worse (eg v Charlton).
 
Try to make eye contact with your interviewer, it would give a better impression and make him look less shifty.

Spot on, something a few have said for a while on here and I totally agree. Ward, Anderson, Robson never make any attempt to make a run behind the defence. By not doing so we're making ourselves so easy to defend against, because they're the players that often don't get picked up and can cause a bit of confusion and panic.
 
Now we're into the sharp end of the season, if you truly feel Neil that you might need some help with the running of the team on match days from an old head for example, then don't be afraid of putting your hand up to Simon and let's get it sorted. I'm sure he'd rather you do that and you'll gain an army of admirers on here back into your favour if you were to do so. But please don't keep kidding yourself you can cope at this level if you have any personal doubts.
