Connor Ronan

He has hardly set the world alight since he was with us cannot see Scottish teams paying up to 1 million for him, and Wolves would want to sell not loan.
He would be competing with Carey, Wright and Keshi so think I would rather strengthen elsewhere.

He's a good player and wouldn't mind him here. But Tangy makes a good point. I'd prefer him over Keshi [comfortably] and he's probably similar to Wright and Carey. Is he better though? Possibly, but is he worth the investment when we have similar players?

On what I have seen of him I would be very disappointed if he wasnt better than Wright or even Carey. Wright looks a panic buy to me and needs to really work on his game and improve...Carey flatters to deceive but isnt pulling any trees up so for me Ronan would be an upgrade

yeh can buy into that but when it seems that we are struggling to get deals done, I think it's a valid point that tangy makes in that the money could be better spent elsewhere. A replacement for Madine for example.

Not an area we desperately need to recruit for IMO.Tidy little player and gets off a good strike at goal but I’d prefer to bring in an experienced championship midfield leader preferably strong and commanding

Carey who has only ever had one good game for us and is a headless chicken passenger the majority of the time, Wright who can't get a game or even a sub appearance off the bench and Keshi who is always injured and it isn't even his natural position. Its not much competition is it, definately an area that needs strengthening. Just because we have numbers that can play that position we have no quality.

I would forget about Keshi if I were you. Sadly he is another sick note.

Would be the perfect addition to midfield IMO even forgetting the injuries. Exactly the kind of signing you’d hope we can attract at our level.

I believe Carey will develop into a very good player, he has only had about 25 games as a pro footballer. Give him another season and he could be a star for our team.

Depends whether you think Carey and Wright are good enough. If you don't, then it is an area we need to improve on. I've seen nothing of Wright and Carey to suggest they are good enough/ready for Championship football.

If you think we need a diminutive mid-fielder with a bit of skill and something to prove why not give Rob Apter a chance? He might not be what we need and he might not be good enough but until he gets a chance we'll never know.
He's probably got as much footballing experience now as Carey had when we signed him.

As it stands, we need an agile 'destroyer' who is also good on the ball. Our midfield is far too weak. We also need some proper wingers.

If I was manager of Blackpool I'd be more inclined to assess Rob's ability as a left or right winger rather than as a leftie playing at RB.
