Compared to Ireland

Can we be convinced that there would be the same degree of care in the event that a socialist PM were making the decisions?
How the hell is anyone to make a judgment on something as unrealistic as that??????? Talk about trying to desperately point score. 20's will be along in a minute as this is his domain.

Don't get excited Tangi. It was a rhetorical question based on the fact that ALL the OP's posts refer ONLY to the apparent incompetence of the Prime Minister. 'Care' and 'compassion' have never played any part in those posts

I'm saying that his initial negligence cost hundreds of unnecessary lives but apparently I lack compassion for caring about this.
Firstly, I'll be along when I want, tangiverse.
As for you Cat, I've asked you enough times if you wished Boris well in his recovery. Never did get a definitive answer apart from what I next mention.
I remind you of your crass statement about not wishing Boris dead. You don't wish the death penalty on anybody. Sums you up Cat. I'm sure your pupils would be proud of you coming out with such a comment as that. As for what your Governors would say! Said it before, you're not fit to be around kids with the poison you drip.

Again and again when 20s loses the argument he resorts to uninformed personal attacks and abuse. It's a sad failing really.

what argument have I lost?

Did you not say the words which I attributed to you?
Do you reference the loss of life in any of your posts or is it all about the politics?

I thought we were slow to respond. tbh I have faith in very few politicians, I didnt even vote.
I just think in times of crisis people should pull together. In my eyes this crisis is far bigger than Tory/Labour.

Perhaps Labour would have handled it better, Who knows?
Its rather irrelevant though as the voting public decided not to elect them.
We all need to accept the result as that's how democracy works.

TBH the General Election wasn't even close unlike Brexit ,

That suggests people thought the opposition were a significantly worse option than what we now have in power?

Maybe the voters got it badly wrong?

Look If you or anybody feels so strongly about party politics, that it is all black & white or some great battle between Good V Evil, erm Ok Fine.

Personally I see things differently & think that outlook at best lacks balance & it could be said even verges on fundamentalism.

However Instead of venting at the Tories on here, maybe take a more positive route?
Have you considered campaigning for the Labour Party? You could then be doing your bit to try to help them gain more votes & be elected.
Surely it is better to do something positive rather than constantly snipe?

With respect, these figures are inaccurate. In any event a more relevant representation would be a comparison of Ireland's density of population with that of England. This gives a more realistic comparison of the ability of both countries to shield individuals from the virus.
Ireland's population density is 67 per km and England's is 428 per km.

Lies, damn lies and statistics TTJ, but the point's still valid.
