Minority ruining it potentially for the majority as per usual.
moved to the south and kills the atmosphere. If part of a block is closed how does that work for the fans who have season tickets there?
Probably to Q block plenty of empty seats in there and no where near the away fans .moved to the south and kills the atmosphere.
Genius.
It may raise the atmosphere in the South up a notch.moved to the south and kills the atmosphere.

100% correct. What if those congregating in this area aren’t actually from these blocks?
At what point does the Club need to act at the time, via their stewards and policing to sort this out rather than threatening everyone, many whom behave perfectly fine?
Last game a few bottles were launched, and it doesn’t help when a few knobs run to the north east corner and start giving it big uns to the opposition.I sit in the north and being honest I haven’t seen anything thrown at away fans or on the pitch for quite a while now. I honestly thought it had stopped. Has anybody else seen anything at the last two home games???
Sounds like the 70s/80s when there were full on pitch battles, ooh someone walked down and flicked away fans the Vs get them banned.Last game a few bottles were launched, and it doesn’t help when a few knobs run to the north east corner and start giving it big uns to the opposition.
It has started happening at the end of the game when away fans are leaving the stadium. Some childish idiots can’t help but throw things at them and congregate in the NE corner.I sit in the north and being honest I haven’t seen anything thrown at away fans or on the pitch for quite a while now. I honestly thought it had stopped. Has anybody else seen anything at the last two home games???
12-15 year olds probably won’t read the club statements, stupid little kids will one day grow up.It has started happening at the end of the game when away fans are leaving the stadium. Some childish idiots can’t help but throw things at them and congregate in the NE corner.
How many times have these selfish idiots been warned?
I hope not!!Probably to Q block plenty of empty seats in there and no where near the away fans .
Very good point, and pretty obvious really. What if those congregating in this area aren’t actually from these blocks?

I was right at the front at Fulham, no one tried to get on the pitch when we scored at all, it is football you’re meant to go mad when you score.I have no problem with enthusiastic supporters but we do have some numpties who are often fuelled by too much alcohol. And it will only be a question of time before someone gets injured because of their behaviour. Throwing bottles, coins and letting off flares is just not on. At the Fulham away match I was at the front of the stand and a few of us nearly got flattened by some who thought it would be a good idea to surge forward and try to get on the pitch when we scored. Fully support the club in their statement

I sit in Block B, saw a lot of bottles being thrown at the end of the Millwall game. Only bottle I saw thrown in the last game must have been from the back of block B as it came over us and landed at the front of the stand. Amazingly this was in the 1st half after we had scored. Clueless as to who the intended target was unless at our own keeper?.I sit in the north and being honest I haven’t seen anything thrown at away fans or on the pitch for quite a while now. I honestly thought it had stopped. Has anybody else seen anything at the last two home games???
Agreed but people are complaining when they exit from the other end too.It doesn't help that away fans are exiting right along the corner that's most likely to create a flashpoint
Asking for trouble
The statement is fine but as others have said those reading it aren't the issue
The issue wasn't the exiting rather the impact on those trying to go home themselvesAgreed but people are complaining when they exit from the other end too.

Those its aimed at probably can't read let alone know how to behave in a socially acceptable manner , Darwins theory of evolution has got some serious catching up to do amongst some of our supportersIt doesn't help that away fans are exiting right along the corner that's most likely to create a flashpoint

CorrectIf away fans had to walk right past the main singing section at any ground in the championship then problems would occur.
So surely this can be managed within the ground and at the time? You know what’s coming here.
Away fans will be back exiting on to Bloomfield road again and Bloomfield road will be closed off yet again to home fans.
After all the good work that was done getting this changed is quickly turning to rat shit again all because of a few mindless yobs.
We’ve had this argument earlier in the season when throwing stuff from the north was the norm.So surely this can be managed within the ground and at the time?
Not by putting it on everyone else?
What are the stewards actually doing??
If it’s not the stewards job then who’s job is it ?We’ve had this argument earlier in the season when throwing stuff from the north was the norm.
I said back then and you disagreed (apologies if I’am wrong) but It’s not the stewards fault for not seeing this sort of thing happening.
We’re all adults so we should act like them and not like spoilt brats.
I'm not so sure it's alcohol.I have no problem with enthusiastic supporters but we do have some numpties who are often fuelled by too much alcohol. As a South Stand (T) ST Holder it can take me a good 5 mins just to limp from my seat down the steps and to the exit, then have to hobble back down toward Central Drive which can take me another 5 mins, so they are going to have to hold away fans back for longer than 5 mins really. Quite a few West Standers also come round that way so Bloomfield Rd isn’t the easiest ground to exit. The issue wasn't the exiting rather the impact on those trying to go home themselves
If they can't be policed in an orderly fashion keep them back for five mins It should be simple
That’s why I said we’re all adults we shouldn’t be doing it plain and simple. If it’s not the stewards job then who’s job is it ?
It’s a merry go round back to the issue many have discussed at length from the beginning of the season, including yourself and me Tim.Correct
It was a flawed idea from the start
Do you remember the 70s and 80s?Sounds like the 70s/80s when there were full on pitch battles, ooh someone walked down and flicked away fans the Vs get them banned.
Throwing stuff is a joke tho could hit a kid in the face ect out of order if that’s happened again.
What about with 10 minutes to go pulling the shutter down on the gangway nearest to the east stand meaning everyone has to exit across the north towards the west ?
Yet we were held back at Birmingham. Different rules around the country?Do you remember the 70s and 80s?
Yeh it was full on, sometimes exhilarating often scary as fuck!!
One thing that did happen often was the away fans being kept in after the match.
Unfortunately due to their human rights they wish not to be kept back.
Its totally stupid throwing things and two wrongs dont make a right but the leaving away fans need to stop goading the Blackpool fans and hopefully I might stop
Blackpool v Man City FA cup c1982At least the dart-throwing generation know better now they’re all drawing pensions
So someone goading you on leaving theDo you remember the 70s and 80s?
