Cheltenham Visit

We’re down for the match early too, in fact we have just walked past there, I am very impressed with the Montpellier District.

Spotted some nice bars for some pre-match drinking tomorrow including Sanford Park Alehouse and the Kemble Brewery Inn. Where will the Pool fans be congregating? 🍊👍🏻
 
I won’t get there till close to KO time, but when I lived in Cheltenham I used to drink in the Kemble Brewery Inn. Cracking pub.

I once looked at a house next door to it, estate agent urged me to forget its faults and focus on how close it was to the pub..
 
I also rented on the Bath Road in Cheltenham ( a mile from the town centre) for 6 months pre kids.
800 yards of shops, pubs, cafes, from our front door. Brilliant. Still going well now.

Its half a mile from Cheltenham College where the cricket festival takes place (usually Glos stage 2 four day games and 2 T20 games). Chuck in the racing and literature festivals and it’s a good town to live in.

I always enjoy going back for an annual day at the cricket and it will be good to go back briefly tomorrow night. I watched the Robins get into the football league when I didn’t have money or time to follow Blackpool, it’s a good little club punching above its weight to be in league 1.

I will certainly be taking in the Sanford and the Kemble.

My step-son was down here at university so I've been a few times. However, neither of us know Beefy Boys. Where is it?
 
OMG . Wish i was joining all the posters on here. Sounds like a great footy day/ night out. Is it still called the Jonny Rocks stadium or i am i mistaken. Its a radio job for me .
