Barnet away. 7-0. 11th November 2000

I'm not gonna lie, I wasmt there myself, and its debatable how long I'd have stayed in the ground if I was when it became obvious we were gonna get dicked.

Cant remember how the scoring went but presume we were at least a couple down by half time.

Who went ? And if this thread gets dozens of "I was there" posts, most of you are lying bastards haha 😄

5 down at half time but in all honesty it could have been 5 5. I was there.

I arrived late already 1-0 down that went 2-0 before I had span through the turnstile, went to supporters bar after the sixth went tin

I was in Acapulco at the time and sneaked in the Hotel Manager office to gain internet access.
It wasn’t easily available back then.
I was astonished with score line and had to rejoin a group of Leeds fans. They had just knocked out a German club in Champions League.

Funnily enough I had to do similar again the following April as I was in Beijing. A 3-2 win and a chance of play offs. Who would have believed that when walking out of Underhill that day.

Yes, went with my son, a treat for him!

Think that some of our clothers are still drying out, boy did it rain.

I certainly dont believe we won 3-2 in Bejing.

I wasn't there but I remember watching the scores on Ceefax (page 308 wasn't it?) and Steve McMahon's post match analysis of "Well the only good thing about that is that at least we don't lose seven points."

I was at school in Preston at the time, and I knew I was going to get slaughtered on Monday. Predictably enough, during morning registration one of my "friends" moved the blackboard down to reveal "7-0" in massive tangerine letters. 20 years of therapy later and I can now just about talk about it...

I was talking about it to a Seasiders fan today funnily enough and as I recall that was the/a season you guys went up.

Pivotal as some might say.

I was in Kosovo,,,,and for the play off final ,,was invTunisia ,,,couldn't get result in Tunisia until next day ,,,whenva flight came in from Manchester ,,and they had the papers ,,,with them ,,,

my memory of it is we actually played OK, it just seemed every time they shot they scored. I remember sending my cousin to go get a drink and a pie 5 mins before HT when it was 2-0, and when he got back it was 4-0 !

I was also there that day. And by there I mean I completely wasn’t there and I pretend I was to make me look like an Uber fan 👍

Remember it well. I wasn't there, we went Christmas shopping early and we had the town centre to ourselves because everyone was at barnet

Was in gran canaria ,phoned my daughter and jokingly said ,(not nowing the score ),well that was bad 6-0 to which she just replied 7 dad, I swear I almost passed out .

I don't think Cottee has seen seven goals since. Every time he pops up on Soccer Saturday he's always watching dull 0-0's

I was in a pub in Huddersfield and the scores were on the telly and I took some stick. Same pub I watched the Kidderminster game in where it all turned round.

That Kidderminster game (live on Sky) was great! Andy Morrison's (mk 2) best game for us by far. Simmo scored from a short corner that game, and for the rest of that season we tried that same corner at least three times every game, without success!

Edit to add: Highlights of said Kidderminster game are wonderfully on YouTube:
