calling any statto's - old game results

passing the time with nothing better to do i'd been compiling a nerdy spreadsheet with a list of all the games i've ever attended plus the score, there's a few i'm struggling with anyone able to help with any details?

19-May-1989 Great Britain v Italy (European Police Championship Final played at Bloomfield Road)
22-May 1989 Blackpool v Oldham (Central League)
8-May 1990 Lancashire v Hertfordshire (Police Federation National Cup Final played at Bloomfield Road)
9-Aug-1991 Fleetwood v Blackpool XI (Stuart Robinson Testamonial)
4-Aug-1992 Burscough v Blackpool XI (Friendly)

I don't think I will be of too much help but I once went to a pre-season game at Fleetwood which I'm guessing was the one you describe above (1991).

I didn't know it was a testimonial so I'm definitely not sure but we played a generally fringe squad and the game finished 1-1.

Re the Fleetwood game and the Testimonial, can't say if it's the same game for sure, but I went to a pre-season friendly at Fleetwood which Blackpool won 3-1. Think it might be the game you are talking about. I recall it because we had two new players playing for us. Tony Rodwell and Dave Lancaster.
 
we played fleetwood twice in the summer of 91 (so pre-season for 91/92), we lost 1-0 on the 5th august, then sent what i imagine was a weaker "eleven" to play the testamonial on the 9th august (friday night) as the first team were at rochdale next day in the manx/lancashire cup

we had a 1-1 draw with the cods year before seaside2020 so I think that's probably the game your referencing?

20togo bomber lancaster & rodwell signed summer 1990 per google so they wouldn't have been new in summer 91??

Here's a programme from the European Police match in 1989. For a Brucey bonus point anybody know the Blackpool connection in the Police team?image.jpg
 
from memory the ex-mansfield striker keith cassells played in one or both those police games but as far as i know he's no connection to the pool

i presume you don't know the score for either blackpool rocks? my googling seems to draw a blank in terms of any info
 
Was it John Butler who played for Blackpool in a few games and I think injury forced him out of the professional game - he went on to become (and could still well be) a Police Officer?
 
Keith Kassels and John Butler did play in the second game I think, will check.

In the first match Gordon Simmonite played for the police. I've no idea about the scores I'm afraid.
