First round now complete. Anybody know when the draw is?
I'd rather have the national league sides involved than U21s. It would at least open up a few new grounds and maybe a trip to AFC Fylde, etc. They made it even worse by putting under 21 teams in it. Should just have stuck to league 1 and 2 sides.
See you at Wembley and you'll care then...Such a glamorous cup that I care deeply about.
Bloody won't.See you at Wembley and you'll care then...
About 12,000. I'd rather go to the National History Museum.79,389 at the final in April. How many would we take?
Where you belong.About 12,000. I'd rather go to the Nation History Museum.
It was designed to serve a useful purpose. EFL teams get to give match time to fringe players and introduce younger players, Prem teams get to give their younger players experience against men. It's not hard to understand. The competition should be scrapped. I will never go to one of those games and that includes Wembley if we get there. Absolute shameful they introduced Premier League youth teams. An insult to League One and League Two clubs.
You don't even have a Season ticket Mr Kodi-stick so why would you go to this crap competition even if PL kids weren't involved. The competition should be scrapped. It's all about perception. Some people label everything as shite, if it doesn't meet all their personal criteria, other people see the purpose and value of different things and choose how to spend their money according to what works for them. That's great that it serves a purpose but doesn't change the fact it's utterly shite and attendances reflect this.
I went to Wednesday home and away. I only did the Hudderdfield home fixture, then watched the return fixture in the Thatched. It was packed and when Bullock scored the golden goal the place went mad. It’s a bored midweek thing to look at until it gets to the semis. I went to all the finals and I think once I went to the northern final but that’s about all
I went to Huddersfield, got a lift with a Huddersfield fan. After we went down to 10 they battered us but couldn't score. I forget if it was the goalie or defender who dropped the ball in Bullocks lap but the drive home was hilarious!!I went to Wednesday home and away. Wasn’t it Gareth Evans who later went on to play for us?I went to Huddersfield, got a lift with a Huddersfield fan. After we went down to 10 they battered us but couldn't score. I forget if it was the goalie or defender who dropped the ball in Bullocks lap but the drive home was hilarious!!
The two LDV finals are some of my fondest memories as a BFC fan. Playoffs I'm usually too nervous to eat until after the game, whereas the LDVs we're a great day out ending in a trophy, but had we lost I'd have been fine about it!
CorrectThe draw is on sky sports news 6.30 pm this Friday
I went to Hereford when Hendry was manager. We lost 2 1.It’s a bored midweek thing to look at until it gets to the semis. I went to all the finals and I think once I went to the northern final but that’s about all
A quick google confirms you are correct! Better memory then me by some distance!Wasn’t it Gareth Evans who later went on to play for us?
yep that’s what they should do.I'd rather have the national league sides involved than U21s. It would at least open up a few new grounds and maybe a trip to AFC Fylde, etc.
Remember that game well, one of my first away games I went on my own. Sure we’d won it the season beforeI went to Hereford when Hendry was manager. We lost 2 1.
1. What were they doing in the Northern Section?
2. Why did Hendry ever get the gig?
Good full-back but injury prone.Wasn’t it Gareth Evans who later went on to play for us?
