For me we need to get the balance between breaking and taking the sting out of games with some possession.

We have done it a bit but sometimes going for the breakaway a lot results in losing it a fair bit.

That makes an end to end game and once we start clicking up top again I still fancy us, but it's safer to take the sting out now and then.

Has it ever crossed your mind that we would not have scored the first goal if we weren't playing 3-4-3?
 
Definitely need a commanding centre back to come in. We look all over the place at the back. Someone of the ilk of Ballard would be nice. CJ took his goal well but has then proceeded to give the ball away time and time again. If CJ is gonna play he needs to be as one of the front 3, as far away from our goal as possible for when he mis controls and makes a poor pass.

Never subbed? I must have been seeing things on Wednesday then.

This board never ceases to amaze me, one minute a player is fantastic and the next minute he's crap.
 
I'm not sure we have it in us to defend a one goal lead no matter who we bring on. This might be one of those 'we'll score more than you' games.
 
first 25 minutes on fire, two really well taken and well worked goals, joseph playing really well, morgan a bit subdued from recent game but solid. silly goal to concede, scabby doesn't get close to describing it, one of those where it just shouldnt go in wasnt even a shot, just a hopeful boot on it.
since the goal weve sat back, started hoofing again, please mr critchley take norburn off and either bring virtue into that middle role or put morgan there and bring on carey or dale, some energy and the ability to see a pass to a player in space.
 
Worried about how we will tire as the game goes on. Need that third goal. Lavery will get behind these time and time again when he comes on. COYP

in the league this season he’s been subbed off twice, both in the last 15.

Also I’ve never said he’s fantastic, he’s a mostly crap footballer with phenomenal pace.

Pointless speculating what we could do at half time when we all know Critchley thinks it’s against the rules to make changes then.
