Blackpool v Wycombe Wanderers Official Matchday Thread 01.04.24

Your opinion and that's fine, the players are the ones on the pitch and they know the system and formations.

So who do you credit for a half decent season at home then.
I credit the fact this is a poor league and we have a good squad.

They clearly don't know the system and formation? What are you watching? They have absolutely no idea how to attack teams. They have no idea how to play when behind.

My opinion is close to fact to be honest, we're looking like we could finish bottom half of league one.

Blaming the players ahead of the manager is a terrible opinion.

Obviously you know what your talking about and sound like you would be a good manager yourself.

So they take no blame?

If you read my sentence, I said that blaming the players ahead of the manager is ridiculous.

Of course they shoulder blame, they are set up to play a style of football which they clearly aren't comfortable with, but his obsession in a style of football which clearly doesn't work is down to him.

I do actually think I could do better with this squad. I could definitely motivate them and shape them up to be more attacking.

Not comfortable with or just not good enough personally i go for the latter, and you do better maybe you could have Dobbie as your No 2 wouldn't that be a dream team

He’s known him since a child?
I've known my youngest since he was 1 second old.
Doesn't stop us having some right rows with each other!!
There are times when people are best mates but just can't work together.

So never pass to him again. Yes he could still have missed....
Beasley is on the pitch to take chances; we need some forwards willing to try their luck. Not going to slate him for that; what we need is more chances. I lived in Anfield in the 80s and watched both Liverpool clubs regularly. Rush used to miss more than he scored but he regularly has 3 or 4 clear cut chances a game. We need Beesely; Lavery and Jospeph to be able to get into those positions and get the ball fed to them.
