The ref was abysmal but we can blame him for us booting it forward at every opportunity or Dougall being in space, running into trouble and then passing it straight to Sunderland time after time.We couldn’t play football ourselves because the ref was a joke and let them get away with foul after foul.
Always good with words is FY8, well mainly just the one.Eloquently put
Apart from 1 drop I thought he was pretty solid - made 3 great saves to keep us in frontMaxwell my player of the season
A few saying how poor we were and just hoofball merchants, nothing to fear from us.*~*~* Blackpool v Sunderland match thread *~*~*
Too reliant on Mcgeady and he's showing signs of age and fatigue. Carrying too many players who dont give enough and an absolute lack of quality in the final third, Jones is brilliant for the odd minute here and there but infuriatingly shit, with pathetic crossing mostly.www.readytogo.net

We got very twitchy and lashed the ball everywhere and nowhere ooohh ever since we scored the goal.
Sunderland were cynical tho. The ref gave us nowt and then some.
But, another 3 points and no goals conceded. Going to be a few sore bodies about tomorrow I'd say

Premier League star of the future?Ballard absolutely immense.
It's up there with Manyoo at home.I've been watching the Pool for more than half a century and 'that decision' is quite possibly the worst I have ever seen in that time. How on earth was than not a red?
UNBELIEVABLE.....
LOL....that’s a good oneThis from their 83 page match thread
"Sunderland football club, f***ing up weekends since 1879"
Sunderland played more long balls than we did and 50% of their passes were in their own half.A few saying how poor we were and just hoofball merchants, nothing to fear from us.
Hard to disagree really with todays display.
Compare that to Lincoln away which we couldn't win and we created chance a after chance.
Goes without saying but if we get in the playoffs we MUST be batter with the ball again, today was like travelling back to the Grayson era.

Relax. I promise you, we'll win. This is really screwing with my indigestion
A bit inconsistent?I've enjoyed it.
It's a good game of football. There's some posters on here who are very difficult to please.
The ref is bit inconsistent to say the least but not biased one way or another.
UTMP.
Err, nearly every time they got in our box they caused problems - and that was often.First scabby win of the season but we were due at least one.
Sunderland look a decent side but other than the McGeady shot didn't really cause any serious problems apart from when Maxwell dropped it. Credit to Ballard, Gretarsson and Thornley for being competitive against their big men and tireless work from everyone.
We didn't keep it well enough today and we need more options from the bench but not too far off the play-offs now so all looking good.
That was a HT comment, he was consistently worse in the second half.A bit inconsistent?
