Blackpool v Shrewsbury Official Matchday Thread 18.11.23

Not read any comments on here. My take is we have been very sharp, without the ball the closing down of space has been great, we are also mixing it up, playing short and going long, lots of energy. and I've headphones on watching from afar, hats of to the crowd they make some noise!

Lovely mix of good possession based football with intent and direct balls up to the front two. Impressed with that.

Love how quickly Dembele gets to his feet after being taken down. Now get him off the park, wrap him up in cotton wool for next week and get Connolly on to see it out professionally. Job done.
Agreed on all of that!

We’ve not always been safe with a 2-0 lead though. We can’t throw this away again

Hopefully we get a third and then we give some gametime to some of the guys on the bench. Joseph for instance., I'm guessing Beesley will run himself out and then Joseph will enter.
If I had to make a change now I would do Lyons for Dale

Lets not do what we did against Cheltenham.

We need to go out and play at the same tempo and attack them and kill the game off.

Dale has looked sharp today, fancy him to notch in the 2nd half.

Lyons does need pitch time. Maybe replace CJ?

Nothing fucks me off more when we go short and the ball ends up back at the half way line. Just put it in the box in these conditions.
