Just heard his erm post-match erm rubbish on erm Sky. Yawn !
You are totally deluded if you think..”we weren’t too bad” .Posh played well tonight. We weren’t too bad I’ve seen us play a lot worse I just think they were hungrier for it and Saturdays win will have partly contributed to that.
A stronger team could’ve been picked but honestly I’m not that arsed about the competition even though I’ve been to most of the games. It takes me back to a time when we were at a certain level and we aren’t that little club grateful for success in tinpot competitions anymore.
Yeh 100% I couldn’t really muster any excitement for the competition even if we were at Wembley. It just reminds me of the days when we were very shit and I don’t view us like that anymore. It’s depressing we are even in to be honest.Really??
A right royal pasting and Critchley sacked if we play anything like tonight.Kouassi did nothing when he came on. All very disappointing. Wonder what to expect against Bolton on Saturday.
Midfield is our big problemPerhaps but tinker man likes to rotate. Beesley did actually win some headers early on & Virtue put in a shift. But we seemed unable to pass a ball at all. Don’t mention Connolly

I only went to the games this season to get a good look at some of the fringe/youth players. They were like reserve games to watch.
I would ordinarily take you to task about Critchley. Not tonight. It was obvious what Ferguson was doing and it was obvious how easily Critchley's tactics fell into his trap. We huffed and puffed whilst Ferguson's players found good passes. Poor stuff.I would be very happy to see us play in a similar manner to Peterborough one day . They make mistakes at the back but then they can afford to. Ferguson has put together a very exciting young team with bags of potential to improve.
This time they made us look like a pub team for most of the 90 minutes, well done to them . Now will someone show Critchley the door .
Thinking about his severance pay no doubtWhat’s this smirk all about in his post match interview? You’ve just fielded a team that has been battered all over the pitch and you’re smiling!!?
Maybe but apart from out muscling someone once he is so slow & didn’t win many headers. Maybe one for the future but unless he can improve his acceleration (unlikely) you’re right about other players as tonight we looked like non league against top Championship. We’ll probably beat Bolton & lose to Shrewsbury having thrown it away to Orient.Harsh on him, what did Beesley, Joseph and Lavery do? Difficult when you get no service at all, the midfield, wing backs and 2 of the central defenders should be ashamed of their performances tonight, but the tactics are completely wrong
Newsflash…we are shit. It’s a definite return of the turd and I’m not just talking about the head coach coming back.Yeh 100% I couldn’t really muster any excitement for the competition even if we were at Wembley. It just reminds me of the days when we were very shit and I don’t view us like that anymore. It’s depressing we are even in to be honest.

O'Donnell. You are totally deluded if you think..”we weren’t too bad” .
We were a complete joke of a football team…& I use the term “football” very loosely. Only Ekpiteta can hold his head high after that game.
That youth on the left got played in a few times might of been the same one Connelly shoved in the face but they targeted that as a weak areaTo be honest, even if we had our first team out, the outcome would have been similar.
When you can't do the basics like play the offside trap, it doesn't matter who plays. Been happening all season. The players are clearly struggling with the system and it's becoming more and more evident each week.
O’Donnell was immense saved us from an absolute embarrassment if it it wasn’t one alreadyO'Donnell.
Yep Ekpiteta,Hubby and O donnell put their bodies on the line numerous times. You are totally deluded if you think..”we weren’t too bad” .

A couple of good saves early on yes but flapped and dropped one cross and conceded the penalty.O'Donnell.
He defended an attack into the area. An attack their forward had already lost when the ref gave the pen.A couple of good saves early on yes but flapped and dropped one cross and conceded the penalty.
With no goals it can't be our only problem.Midfield is our big problem

Well, when we were very shit we won it twiceYeh 100% I couldn’t really muster any excitement for the competition even if we were at Wembley. It just reminds me of the days when we were very shit and I don’t view us like that anymore. It’s depressing we are even in to be honest.

It was the smirking that got me. Like some kid in the classroom who has got found out.Just heard his erm post-match erm rubbish on erm Sky. Yawn !
No I agree. But no service from midfield The balls are hoofed forward to front - easy for defenders. RememberedWith no goals it can't be our only problem.
Harsh on him, what did Beesley, Joseph and Lavery do? Difficult when you get no service at all, the midfield, wing backs and 2 of the central defenders should be ashamed of their performances tonight, but the tactics are completely wrong
That annoyed me too. What’s this smirk all about in his post match interview? You’ve just fielded a team that has been battered all over the pitch and you’re smiling!!?
It finished when mugs renewed tickets. No, the season ended on May 23rd last year!
I'm not sure what the problem is, it's 4 changes, O'Donnell was always going to play, Beesley needs minutes, as does Virtue and hasn't Connolly played most of the BSMT games?
Pennington, Lavery, Dembele and Byers are all there if we need them along with Kouassi and CJ.
ReallyThey’re a good side, probably the best footballing side in the league, but they won’t keep this pace up. It’s a game we will deal with and come out on top in the end.
But they aren't a team full of confidence, their recent form is worse than ours. They did however look like a very competent team from 1 to 11 that was well coached.Masterclass from Peterborough who showed what a team full of confidence can do! Every single one one of their players looked desperate to get to Wembley! Ours looked desperate to help them..
Really
I don't think it is, all our midfield get to do is watch the ball sail over their heads, this style of play is reminiscent of the Hendry eraMidfield is our big problem
Exactly rightPosh played well tonight. We weren’t too bad I’ve seen us play a lot worse I just think they were hungrier for it and Saturdays win will have partly contributed to that.

Has been for two years. At least Virtue put himself about. Norburn is so worried about safety he can’t bear to pass forward and I’m not sure Morgan touched the ball for 45 minutes.Midfield is our big problem
He's signed for Coventry and loaned back to P'Boro. They have a knack of finding players and developing them, they've been doing it for years. We've been given a footballing lesson tonight .....again! Poor performances both individually and collectively Virtue, Connolly, Morgan and Coulson. In fact, easier to name the players that did ok O'Donnell and Big Marv.I wish Mason-Clark played for us, quality.
You knew what would happen with the starting lineupNo I agree. But no service from midfield The balls are hoofed forward to front - easy for defenders. Remembered
the days of Adam Southern Vaughan and even Wellens and Deary ( in the ‘old’ days) when they worked so hard ! Little hoof ball in those days
Deary
It really has come to something, I'm afraid to have to say, when the only real positives you are able to dredge up from that s--ts--w, which so many of us had the misfortune to witness today, are focussed on the various positive aspects Posh succeeded in delivering during the course of the 90 minutes they were out on the pitch, thereby keeping us all thoroughly entertained, whilst 'toying', in a rather embarrasing manner, with the hapless opposition ...Yep Ekpiteta,Hubby and O donnell put their bodies on the line numerous times.
I think what I’m trying to say is Peterborough were very good on the night and they contributed to our defeat whereas a lot of the performances of late have been of our own making.I can tell when we play poorer because the tempo and movement isn’t there and I think we showed some tempo tonight. Not a good performance don’t get me wrong but I can accept it more because Posh were good on the night
We still have a 'little club' mentality and always will have under Sadler & Critchley.Posh played well tonight.
They had lost 4 on the trot confidence came from playing a very poor team with a clueless managerMasterclass from Peterborough who showed what a team full of confidence can do! Every single one one of their players looked desperate to get to Wembley! Ours looked desperate to help them..

Has it ever got going.......Season over.
Yeah, good pointHas it ever got going.......
Maybe because thats just what we are.We look like a thrown together rag rag bunch of lower and none league footballers.
Not our own doing? Did you see our defending? Did you see the complete failure of the offside trap, did you see all the space between the lines?Yep Ekpiteta,Hubby and O donnell put their bodies on the line numerous times.

They made us look like a Sunday league team with their one touch, quick passing football. They have lost 4 in a row…how are they confident?
Didn't play that way for the last 4 games? Think we're over doing it.They made us look like a Sunday league team with their one touch, quick passing football.
Looked extremely confident to me, and I wish we played like that
