Oh I don’t know against the mighty Cheltenham
 
Hold on a minute.

They may have had a slow start to the season but....
Cheltenham have just won on Saturday.
They also held Derby 1-1 recently, just after County had been here and beat us!

This will be another hard game, and I'll be happy as long as we win 1-0.
 
View the bare facts and stats it looks like a nailed on home win. Combining Rhodes turning into League 1 version of Harland and Cheltenham's sorry state 2 goals all season and 10 defeats it should be 3 points. They have turned a mini corner though and a draw is not completely out the question.

Agree early goal is key... let's hope we start on front foot and we play an attacking team.. Still unsure if demebele should start or come off bench (earlier)... just if he starts and things don't happen who we bring on then... hmmmm
 
One of those games where it's absolutely a must win and no exceptions. But, the pressure that we are massive favourites and Cheltenham have nothing to lose will mean it won't be as simple.

Why? It's the truth. Can't be arsed going tonight but taking my kids on Saturday. If people want to pat themselves on the back for going to every match, that's up to them. I couldn't care less.

3 points will be big tonight. So many teams can go above us if win their game in hand so would cement our position around play offs

I am always right. Backed Dougall and Hamilton whilst others were slagging them off. Look at them now. Said we would always lose with Connolly at left wing back and that pretty much happened. AVFTT should create a separate forum for only people who know what they are talking about. Would cut out these silly conversations.
 
Home game against Cheltenham, should be an easy win. But slow down there. This is Blackpool we're talking about, and it is a Tuesday night so anything is possible. I'll be there though cheering the lads on to hopefully 3 points.

Let's hope Critch get's the team to go out tonight with a "we can win this" right from the KO as he did versus Wigan at home, rather than the familiar "we must not lose this at all costs" set up and then pile the pressure on for the last 15 mins.

My suspicions are that “tense grin” is saying he previously posted on here under a different name yet he denies even having heard of “62 years and counting“. Every regular poster on here has heard of that poster pest who strangely has disappeared without trace.

I completely agree that we should be winning tonight, especially if we start on the front foot! However experience tells me it won’t be that straightforward if they sit back and frustrate us, remember Leyton Orient and Port Vale at home which both finished 0-0. I’m looking forward to tonight though, fingers crossed for 3 points!! UTP!! 🧡
 
All games are different and don't always go to plan, all teams are capable enough of winning a game in this league either home or away, personally i will take a 1-0 win irrelevant of how we play, football at any level is a result based game. Yes its nice to win and play well and dominate games but unfortunately the wonderful game isn't like that.
 
It’s the dreaded home Tuesday night game. They have turned a corner and will be keen to gather a bit of momentum. They would love a 0-0 draw.
An early goal for us to force them to come attack us and we could win by a few.
Get straight at them from the off.

PLEASE Mr Critchley - set us up to be positive FROM THE FIRST WHISTLE and not in the second half when we are already behind!!!

I have been genuinely impressed at numerous individual and team performances and enjoyed the attacking football we CAN play, just trust the team a bit more and let them off the leash.

As I said, I bet Leeds Seasider doesn’t miss him, their match day ding dongs during/after a poor Pool performance were amusing at times but nasty as well at times.


But you’re right, ATG is a misery….
