Blackpool v Bolton Official Matchday Thread 17.02.24

Well that was exciting, at last!

No real control by either team and wide open for the purist. Pockets of good play, great goal by beesley, great saves by grimshaw.

It could go either way or be a 4.4 draw, again who knows. I just hope we keep trying to go forward rather than sit back.

Really exciting half of football that and well done from coming back from a goal down, when we did the heads did drop as identified by the commentators too, but that nit of quick thinking from Hubby and a brilliant finish from Bees came at just the right time and we have been, just, the better team since although we couldn't complain if it was 4-4.

All the players putting a shift in but Marv really is the best defender in this league and Grimmy is on fire at the moment.

We need to keep the tempo up second half, surely there are more goals in this match? Certainly not a boring hame either.

Agree about Marv and the reason Grimshaw is good is he gets lots of practice. We are really bad at defending as a team. All the elements for a cracking second half.

Great game, but we do look wide open at the back. Got to be more goals in the second half. We definitely need 1 more🙏

Grimmy has God on his side I've said it before if he came off his line more to command area hed be prem.class, then perhaps that's why hes in league 1

You'll all be happy to know we are still in 8th place, Posh, Oxford and Stevenage all winning, need to win this and hope some of those results change in our favour.
