Blackpool go head to head

If Nixon is right (which is hugely doubtful) that we are competing with Portsmouth for Moxon then he will go to Portsmouth because that's what always happens.

And Yates to Blackburn? Pie in the sky IMO
 
The only question I have with the Pomp move, Moxon is what 26? Spent his life in and around Carlisle. Is he looking to move as far away as possible from family and friends. If Pomp go up, will he have a role to play if they try and spend in the summer?
 
Nixon isn't infallible we all know that but he doesn't just make stuff up...he's got an army of contacts.
Moxon would be closer to his family if he came to Blackpool and the fact that we showed an interest last summer might have some bearing although ultimately it usually comes down to money.
 
Where Moxon goes will depend on the best deal. As a relegated Championship team, who's generated income from selling Kenny, surely we can put a better deal on the table than Pompey.
IF NC wants him, it will be very disappointing, if SS doesn't sign him.
 
I just think, yes if he goes Pomp he will more than likely be Championship next season, however I don't see them not trying to spend in the summer, knock him down the pecking order.
Not that he would walk straight into our squad mind you
 
He fits our present policy. Cheap.

From what you read though he’s not as good now as he was. If we’re prepared to spend a bit of cash I’m sure there’s better.
 
His agent will tell him to go for the best financial deal and the one that will give him the chance if playing at a higher level. We shall see. I assume we are looking at others as well, including ones who may be available I'm the summer
 
I get the feeling Moxon would have come here last summer if he really wanted to and with Pompey looking more likely to get promoted than we are I'd be surprised if he came here.
