Bez Lubala

Nope, surprisingly there isn't even an official rumour like there is with Madine.

He tweeted after our win against Sunderland saying "great result for the lads" or something along those lines, maybe it is sorted out now if he's doing that?
 
Am intrigued by the 'club discipline' line - usually if someone has done a misdemeanour they are ostracised for a few weeks but anyone remember when he last actually featured even on the bench?

As has been said, no one beyond a close group of individuals knows. Everything else, including this post, is speculation.

I’m not convinced it is a disciplinary matter. First because I think there would have been a club announcement or something would have leaked out. Secondly if it was serious enough to justify such a lengthy extension then I suspect a summary dismissal would also have been justified. Thirdly, given the number of long term injuries, I think the pressure to reduce the period of suspension would have been enormous.

As far as I can tell that leaves us with serious health issues or dispute/litigation of some sort between other clubs which BFC and Bez have been caught up in.
 
Maybe he had to give up his squad place to allow signing the new goalie?
Suspect not though as stated no one apart from a few individuals actually has a clue.
It actually bodes well for our summer transfer targets however frustrating that may be as we will complete signings without getting involved in auctions

By official rumour I just mean the rumour that gets cited whenever the 'where is Gary Madine' situation comes up (they even mentioned it on the Seasiders Podcast), whereas with Bez there isn't a widespread rumour as to what the issue is, where you'd expect there to be one considering the club outright said the reason he has disappeared off the bench is because of a "club matter" between them.

I'll go back and find when I read it on here, but I'll emphasise that this is a rumour of course:

Whether that is true I have absolutely no idea, it could be completely genuine that he has a groin injury that keeps flaming up - I think that's pretty common with the groin.
 
Presuming Bez is still getting paid?

What will he be on per week? A grand, 2 grand?

It soon adds up

The rumours come from fans being frustrated. They know that Madine and Bez could offer options from the bench that may have turned a draw into a win.

More importantly, he's deleted the tweet about the team's performance against Sunderland...

Something is very fishy and I'm sure we won't know until the Summer so no point in worrying about it now.

Because It’s much easier for the usual suspects to write him off as useless, with their usual scant concern for looking like no-nothing knee jerks, based on a handful of games. See their insightful critiques of critchley, Yates, the entire squad etc etc from earlier in the season.

I’ve no idea why Bez is frozen out but I know we’ve not seen the best of him; he clearly has the attributes to develop into an asset. Whether it’s going to happen here, I don’t know but I hope it does.

in the games he played he didn t perform awfully well. Has he actually scored
a league goal for the club?

For me he could have been started to give Yates a rest until just after HT with the instruction to run his balls off & press, this tactic causes hurried passes & the odd interception, players out of position etc & can allow others to capitalise from it. But for whatever reason he's absent, it remains a mystery. Along with Madine for which we may be reading something into it which is totally wrong.

Just seen a 2nd rumour about Madine not playing because he has an appearance clause in his contract which automatically extends it by another year.

2 rumours for Madine now, and not even one measly rumour for Bez Lubala. An absolute disgrace.
