Not the best result, but the most important one for sure.

They desperately needed that for confidence.

3 in a row, away from home, they've been good enough, but now they know it.

Now is the time to peak, 18 more matches to go and we probably need to win 11 of them.

Let's have it.
 
Hard to dispute the Portsmouth game as being our best this season but in the context of breaking the away voodoo yesterday's result was big.
Bristol had not lost at home in the league since last August so not an easy place to pick up three points.
 
Hopefully yesterday gives the team belief.

I think that we'll be the best performing team in 2024 in the 23/24 season as we were in 2021 for the 20/21 season. I just hope that we get enough points to make the top 6 as this season is seeing real polarisation between the top and bottom clubs and we'll probably need in excess of 80 points to make it.
 
It was a good result in the context of where we are - but we need the best wins to come against those above us in the final third of the season.
 
A short while ago I was castigating the defence for not throwing themselves in front of everything. On Saturday they did and I, for one, am not going to fault it.
 
It was an important result. Very much hitting a purple patch now which we needed to if we are going to force ourselves into the play off picture.

Agree with this, Husband even said after the game that the players needed that for their own confidence and to prove that they can win games like that away from home. Could be a big turning point in our away form, at least I hope it is.
