Best Frontman Ever?

Roger Daltry, Mick Jagger, Robert Plant, and Freddie Mercury are probably the GOAT of frontmen.

From the current crop of bands, I would say Matty Healy of 1975 who despite his parents has the charisma and stage presence of a young Jagger or Bowie, the music is surprisingly quite catchy and appeals to quite a wide age group.

Freddie Mercury without question IMO, but honourable mention to Danny Bowes of Thunder, who for many years has held audiences from pubs to arenas in the palm of his hand. He’s not too well atm, so get well soon Danny!!🧡

McCulloch in early to mid 80's was brilliant before too much coke and booze caught up with him.Saw him earlier this year and was good in nostalgic show type way

For other reasons always thought Jom Morrison in his pomp was brilliant and James Brown bossed it brilliantly
Ian Curtis was extraordinary and Mark E Smith always made me smile ( consistently arsey)

Was he from Blackpool

Don't think Ian was from Blackpool but, he used to work with my brother doing Walky Snaps on the piers. He once asked my brother if he wanted to join a band, but my brother replied "I can't play a guitar" Ian said, thans fine niether can we. He used to sing in the dark room when they were developing the photographs my brother always said he had a great voice.
