Beesley apology

Dear Dr Hindsight

I'm Happy to admit I was wrong, Bees had a very good game and I was very pleased for him
I've never slagged Bees off, but looking at the size of 1 their CB's, I thought more physical players would have been a better option
Indeed, when Joseph came on, his physicality gave them problems as he out-muscled their players, particularly down our left.

For perspective, this is all I posted about Bees, just an extract because I posted positively about several players

" I'd rather see Joseph or Kouassi starting against their CB's as they are more physical than Beesley"

Easy to post after the game

Let's just be happy with the win and the performance eh?
Dave ….apparently his biggest critic who sits not far behind you…I was in row W this time😂 even had a few kind words for him😳😳

I will say one thing though having watched the TTV post match views from the players he certainly has skinny but sharp elbows which I would like in my 🤔

When he’s fit he’s our best forward I preferred him over madine he’s got a knack of being in the right place at the right time he also puts himself about and makes things stick up there

Jake was MOM in the match report of the Football League Paper and he was also in the League One Team of the Day along with Marvin Ekpiteka.

Exactly Mac
I’ve just revisited that post and opposition to Beesley’s inclusion came from:-

And then several others on the same thread who had another go at Critch.
I rarely have a go at players ,but I still think Critch has to prove himself . Players seem to always do their best as they have an audience and it could mean promotion or demotion to each individual . A manager can pick a team ,a tactic and change it ,if things are not going well .
This is why I am not convinced by Critch and until we get a sustained standard of good performances , he could and should maybe targeted for some of our performances.

I owe the man a serious apology. Before the season I thought he was a sick note. I was more wrong about him than Appleton was when he thought he was a winger. First few games of the season I still thought he was a league 2 cart horse but he’s come on literal leaps and bounds. Today he was phenomenal with the ball. On current form he’s probably our best striker. Must be close to Rhodes numbers now too
That's what Critchley does, given time

I will join in the plaudits and praise when we see him performing to that level week in, week out.
For me, he has flashes of looking like a decent player but way too often he either disappears or shows his frailties.
More than happy to eat my words because he seems a very genuine and likeable player and we all want him to do well.

I’d retract the apology quick before anyone thinks it was a genuine post!! Back to being as bad a Blackpool target man since Chris Malkin graced Bloomfield Road!
