Cleveleys boy

Arsenal willing to sell him if a suitable offer comes in..Millwall are after him on a permanent deal...Surely we should be in for him aswell??
Surely that's old hat? As someone who left the area to stand on his own two feet, I'm sure a professional footballer cannot be tied to his mothers apron strings? Think of the house value delta, the benefits of the area, the chance to prove his quality. This north south stuff is so passe. He's a London boy and will probably prefer to stay down South if the money is right
Surely going for £4 or £5 million minimum?
Can’t compete financially with MillwallArsenal willing to sell him if a suitable offer comes in..Millwall are after him on a permanent deal...Surely we should be in for him aswell??
Always room for another C/B when we have Keogh in the squad.Great player but don’t feel we need to strengthen in CB position.
Thorniley, Connolley, Marv, Casey & Keogh.. if you added Ballard to the mix I think it’d just be a little overkill.Always room for another C/B when we have Keogh in the squad.
Agree with others though don’t think he’s on our radar anymore.
As it stands true but…..Thorniley, Connolley, Marv, Casey & Keogh.. if you added Ballard to the mix I think it’d just be a little overkill.
You make a good point. As it stands true but…..
Thorniley could well depart for Oxford if a deal is struck for Brannigan, Casey is young inexperienced and still learning his trade and won’t be a regular this season.

Do you think Tharme will be anywhere near the first team next season? You forgot Tharme, and Husband can also cover CB, so with Ballard that'd be 8 with 6 specialist CB's, so we'd need to move out at least 2 of our existing players to bring him in.
Good player, but likely expensive and not what the squad needs.
Get Ballard ( no real chance ) and we could move on two of them.Thorniley, Connolley, Marv, Casey & Keogh.. if you added Ballard to the mix I think it’d just be a little overkill.
It's still valid though, especially in lower leagues.Surely that's old hat?
